Im so frustrated!

Im still alive...but my modem is not...I cannot access the internet and Im posting from son Derek's computer.  It's been weeks of intermittant frustration...but now my modem seems to have died a slow and painful death.  Naturally, all of my files are on MY computer and I cannot access them from Derek's machine so I am quite frustrated for sure. My new business, InfoDIVA, is evolving already, and Im getting into researching and studying business ethics...egad! 

Henry Ford had alot of interesting quotes about integrity and honour...one of my favourite quotes from him is Quality is doing it well when nobody is looking!

It's been darned cold and dark and rainy since last week and I cannot even plant my garden yet.  Ive been making alot of homemade soup, keeping that simmering in the crockpot all day for the guys who are working outside in the cold all day.

Today, I took Mother to the dentist, on Friday, Im taking her to the eye doctor and then out to Swiss Chalet after.

I had an interesting meeting with the publisher of "What Women Want"  magazine and I may be writing a few articles...woohoo!  I'm slowly gathering small business clients who have honour and integrity. 

When I presented my business mandate at a huge networking event last week, the crowd reacted with LOTS of applause..I was blown away!

Hopefully, I will have a fixed modem or a NEW modem by next week..I hate being so dependent on a computer but that is progress!

Even when I'm not posting, I am here in spirit!

Hi Nancy, These darned computers are a pain and frustrating! Mine is giving warning signs of impending death too. Good luck with yours. You are one of the busiest women I know, yet you still manage to squeeze so much into one day. Makes me want to take a nap. It is too cold here in New York State too. I could use a pot of your soup. Nancy, Sorry you are frustrated and heck, while the world can be at our fingertips via the computer, they (and their various components) sure can cause a headache when not working the way we want and need them to! So happy that your business is being received with applause and rightfully so, as I'm sure you've put your heart and soul into it, as you seem that sort of person!  Also congrats on the possibility of writing a few articles!   Sounds like your life is pretty busy and full, hope you are making time for you within all that you do! Hi girlfriend!  Yep, those old computers are like any other machine.  When they do wht they're s'posed to, they're great, but when they start giving trouble, you want to take a hammer to them.  With us, it's the clothes dryer and dish washer! Debbie
