What's New Wednesday!
Morning everyone! I hope everyone is ready to have a great day today. I am praying that today will turn things around for N. She will have surgery to implant a defibrillator this morning. I have a presentation to do first thing this morning, then I will be off to the hospital.
My mind is totally on this surgery right now. I'll check back in later to let everyone know how it went.
Update below!!!!

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
good morning!
the drama continues...michael called the sheriff's dept ( we don't have police dept) smart move i thought!--to warn of possible altercation on friday and they said don't even go to the door----so a sheriff shows up at our house-he had heard it on dispatch and was concerned. we don't iknow him but he knows us-he is SIL of the guy who owns the vacant lot next door and married to one of my coworkers. that made michael feel better! and the BBB has sent notice to the roofer....
well- i had a horrid day yesterday tho-due to the no sleep nite before--seems thamy no sleep wasn't just not sleeping--it was sleep apnea not sleeping...so i dragged mybuttocks all day at work...took a semi refreshing nap and used the cpap and also used it last nite. note to self to keep wearing it .....roxie doesn't understand what it is and licks the nose piece trying to catch the air that escapes!oooo dgog germs!!!!!
scheduled michael's shoulder scope -june 10th- so he continues to live on vicodin and tylenols--i am starting to worry about his liver now.
nothing else worth writing about...hugs and prayers to all.....
Hi Aime and Everyone,
Aime, I have prayers going today for your daughter-in-law and hope that things improve.
I have no news to share today. Just another day in the week for me. Busy at work with new management so that always makes for change. Struggling to meet the demands the changes require. It's hard to get the changes in place and then knowing I will be gone for one month with surgery. Yikes.... It's going to work out though and I will be gone for the month.
Our heatwave promised to break so I expect lower temperatures today. I sure hope so anyway.
I hope you all have a good day.
Kathi
Morning all!
Prayers for N and your family Aimee and for Margo and your situations. Your long days make me tired Carla and keep on keepin' on Kathi! I don't post often, but try to keep track of all.
I feel like I lost a whole day. Guess I did! :) I had my endoscopy yesterday to fix the stricture and slept all afternoon and most of last night. Had to see who won Dancing with the Stars, though. Back to work for the graduation open house for my son on Saturday! Carpet cleaning today and food prep tomorrow. Graduation on Friday and party on Sat.
It's 7:30 am and 35 degrees here in michigan! Supposed to have nice weather for the weekend though!
Have a great day all!!!!
Prayers being sent for N. I don't know who N is but God does... that's what counts. .............Today I have an appt with the specialist at the Pulmonary clinic. It is my yearly check in for my cpap machine. I want to know what the signs are that I no longer need to use my machine. I've gotten use to using it and I feel so much better when I get a good nights sleep. Other than the appt I will spend my day puttering around here. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Millie
Millie,
Your profile is a bit sparce and doesn't give much info, are you pre-op or post-op? if post-op when did you have surgery and what type did you have?
Just being nosey.....

Morning all,
Rainy here today and we sure don't need it. Floods and destruction for some. Have put out a "no getting in the river" rule at all, by boat or float or any means at all.
I am finding that I can barely stay awake at work from about noon to 2pm. I have been trying to take a walk, and am considering going to my car for a 10-15 min shut eye. Caffeine doesn't even touch me, and with all the computer work I do, and all the trouble I have just trying to see the darn screen, I know that doesn't help. Not getting sleep, I think is my main problem...today I am going to try using that sleepy time to go visit with residents and try to get to know them better. We'll see how that works.
Margo, I hope you guys prevail over the roof thing.
Kathi, hope you get through your work day with ease and that the heat lets up for you.
Carla, you make me even sleepier reading all the activity you have in store for you today!
Take Care all,
Cheryl
