I have sensitive skin and have had rashes from hair removal products. My solution for the last 20+ years is to SHAVE.  I have dark hair and you'd think that it would have grown in heavier.  Didn't then; still doesn't.  I found it to be the easiest w/ most satisfying results. I use a Mach 3 now, but in the earlier years... whatever was available.  For thoses tough stray hairs, an occasional pluck finishes my "beauty routine".  LOL  Good Luck.

I have always had a hair problem. My hormones are so off whack and always have been. I was so excited when I first had surgery since the hair was coming in less. Well~you can forget that one now. lol It is coming in different now. I have been shaving but I am going to go back to Nair or whatever. I get my brows waxed but I don't like pain and so that is why I won't wax my face. lol I have sensitive skin too and I only hope that there isn't a problem. My mom had the same problem (she had me and the hair started) and she use to use the Nair stuff for years and then went to shaving. I have a lot more facial hair than she had though.

Hey, Jean and Brenda... Come to think about it... When I was losing hair at 3 months post-op, it slowed the growth on my face.  Later there was the "change" that Brenda is talking about with "different" growth amount, but that slowed down also.  My overall facial hair growth is fairly fine and then there are the thicker stray hair that require an occasional pluck.  I felt a light tingling with hair removers, which caused some "rash / burn" areas.  It wasn't on too long; just sensitive to products in general.   Using lotion that is a bi****ered-down or a mild body wash, when shaving works best for me. Jean, I do a combination pluck and shave.  I pluck those thicker darker chin hairs and shave my peach fuzz cheeks.  The mustache is mostly plucked - every so often I get tired plucking individual mustache hairs and shave the darned thing.  I've got very sensitive skin and am afraid of using hair removal products.  What I wouldn't give to have more hair on my head and less on my face!  Debbie

I use laser hair removal. It has done wonders for my self-esteem.
