My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Hello Karen, How wonderful that you got to spend so much time the the grandbabies. Such precious memories - and how EXHAUSTING! To have your home/haven back in Maui must be such a blessing. I am still unintentially (but slowly) losing as well. I will be interested to hear what your surgeon or nutritionist tells you. Since I am still solidly in the middle of a normal BMI, they told me to relax and do exactly what you are doing - add good carbs and some fats back into my diet. They told me that perhaps my body would be more comfortable with a BMI of 20 or so... Yikes. I'm wearing a 8 or 10, and small tops - something I NEVER did in high school. I agree with a previous poster that the sizes are larger now. If we wear an 8 now, it is more like a 10 or a 12 when we were in high school. Still, single digit sizes began to concern me, so I know what you mean. Keep us posted.
Safe travels home. Hoping to read more from you soon. Enjoy these last few days with the boys.
