what's up with everyone?

Hi Pat, I have some almost new Lane Bryant (from the store, not the catalog) slacksin 22 and 20 that are barely used. I could mail them to you. I am dropping sizes quickly and bought too much (as usual). Julia

I am sorry there was so much trouble sleeping last night, I didn't get to sleep until about 2( that is my norm) but  slept well. I feel like a nice nap now, but I just am not a napper, I can't get past thinking what I should be doing. I am at the library and this may be my last post untill next week. I am on disability and I have a limit to how much I am allowed to make working. This month is a 3 pay check month so I have to cut a lot of hours,I won't be going back to wor****il next Tuesday. Good for the time/wedding thing..damaging to my meager pocket book I am so thankful for the disability assistance but they make me so mad. I work the same amount of hours, but because of how the way the paychecks fall I have to cut a lot of time, and that always makes it difficult to get by, especially bad this month, so much "out going " with the wedding. Then I promised my granddaughter I would pay for her camp, and we won't even get started on the gas prices. Ok enough of my griping.. 4 Days till Liz's Wedding. Tomorrow I get my nails done, Well I had best get going and get some house cleaning done there will be company from out of town, so house to clean and food to cook.. Blessings

Hi Darlene and everyone: Must have been something in the air ... I couldn't sleep either. Rough night for everyone, huh. Unfortunately, I still don't have a computer at home, so can't communicate with y'all online. I'm usually up at that hour; in fact I was just getting home at midnight (but of course, 12:17 pacific time is about 4 a.m., and that was about when I was dozing off).  My knee was hurting something fierce when I got home last night, which is nothing new, but I took my vicodin, put an ice pack on it and propped it up. That's usually all I have to do and I'm fine. Take my other night meds and off to dreamland I go. Not last night. After sitting up for awhile, I went to bed about 2 (I was tired), did my stretches in bed, watched the start of SportsCenter so I could see Jon Lester of the Red Sox throw his no-hitter, and then turned off the TV. By 3 a.m., I was still up and couldn't get comfortable, my knee was hurting so much. It felt like someone was jabbing a needle in the top of the knee. I hope this new doctor I'm seeing Friday will be able to do something for me because I'm tired of this. So anyway, I got up, took another vicodin and hoped it would work. Apparently it did, because I drifted off to sleep, but after that, I was waking up every hour on the hour. I got up a little before 7 and decided I had not slept well, was still tired and would not be going to ceramics. So I turned off the alarm clock and went back to sleep, with Scooter snuggled up next to me. I still woke up every hour after that but didn't get out of bed until about 11. Not much else going on ... got up, had breakfast, exercised, took my shower, had lunch, took a nap, got ready for work and here I am. We have a review tonight (the play "Spamalot") so it will be a late night.  Have a good one.

Hardly ever post but felt the need today.  Finally got the pool from hell finished today.  It cost $600 more than estimated because it was nearly installed twice.  The new liner , to replace the defective one, an extra 225 on top of that.  I guess with the price of gas it will be worth it 'cause we can't afford our usual trip to Emerald Isle, NC. this year.  This is going to be a crazy 2 weeks.  We finally had the last track meet last night so now we're ONLY doing 2 different baseball teams.  My husband got me 3 new roses for my glorious rose garden. ( Olympiad, which is a deep scarlet) ( Queen Mary II which is white), (Granada, which is apricot/yellow/pink mix). If I Ever figure out how to put stuff on a profile, I'll put pictures of it in there.  Our 35th anniversary is on Saturday so my daughter is taking her kids for a trial weekend so we can just be alone. I hope I remember how to act!  She is having her gall bladder out next week and we also have a company Memorial Day Picnic .  Summer is starting out in our usual FRENZY!!!  I'm gettin' tired just thinking about it.  Have a great evening everyone and God Bless you all.          Deb 

So sorry to hear that so many are not sleeping well. I haven't had that problem for a while. I had jury duty today- it was a long day. Now I'm on the way to TOPS. I hope I have a loss. My weight is kind of stuck this week- up and down. I hate when that happens... I have only 8 days left of school. The countdown begins.... Julia

********* Ohhh My Gosh ******* Full moon or not I didn't get a good night sleep either. Our neighbor leaves at 4:00 a.m. for work... but, some moron (lazy butt) decided to park in front of his garage. We are in an apt complex..... considered private property. The local police came out, however, he was not able to have the car towed away..... private property. Ughhh they were calling and banging on doors to ask who parked the car...... nada.. finally he called a tow company to come get the car. He was late but... The rest of us were up wide awake for about an hour. I had no idea there were so many doors to pound on. LOL This is after various trips to the potty.------- It is so nice to hear of the trips some of you are taking.. To see grandkids, Alaska, and other destinations. ...... My sister came last night and stayed for the day. We did the usual shopping trips.. Costco, wal Mart and a fairly new ( to our area ) store WinnCo. They have a huge bulk food section and we bought a few items there. Always fun to get together and chat. We have a lot of sewing projects between us. Hope everyones day turns out to be the best. Mom and I will be watching the finale of Dancing With the Stars.. Who are you all voting for?????? Millie

I love Winn Co....you know they are employee owned stores......they carry so much in the organics.....love them, love them.....
