Hi Margo and everyone: Grrrr! Still no computer. Do you realize it's been two months since computer geek took my computer? I am ready to say give it back to me upgrade or not. But he was working on it Saturday ... he actually called and said it was taking him longer than he expected and I should get it by Sunday. But Sunday came and still no computer. I am so frustrated. On Friday, he e-mailed a link to a sale on HP printers ... great sale, but why should I spend money on a printer right now when I don't have a computer to use it with? Other than that, the weekend was uneventful. I didn't go anywhere. It's my idea of a gas holiday. I stay home so I don't burn fuel. I exercised at home both days, although I did less on Sunday because Saturday I think I did too much ... I started having those same pains in my left knee that I had Friday night and before, which the pain clinic PA says are actualy caused by aggravating the sciatic nerve. So Sunday I didn't do all the exercises on the floor and just stuck to riding the exercycle. Still, today I weighed myself and I lost the four pounds I had gained last week. That's all I do, seesaw up and 4-5 pounds. This morning, I went to an informal West Michigan support group started by someone on the Michigan board. We met at the Rivertown Crossings mall down the street from me. There were four of us; it was great. We had coffee and chatted. Three of us have had surgery; the other is waiting to have hers. I'm the farthest out. I hope we will meet again soon. Not much else new. I agree with you, Annette, on being cold all the time; it has been so chilly around here this weekend, I don't know what to wear anymore. I am sitting in the office wearing my fingerless gloves because they have turned on the air conditioning in the office. I wi**** would warm up so my body would finally get some heat (although I still can't stand the 90-degree, 90-percent humidity weather either). Had to cash in some cans and bottles this morning so I had enough money for ceramics tomorrow; got $4 (we get charged 10 cents deposit for our cans and bottles in Michigan), and I had $1 left, so with some coins I have enough to go to ceramics. The woman who runs the class would let me go for a week without paying, but she doesn't have the money either, so I hate to not pay. Well, guess I should see if there's something to do. Have a good day.
