monday what's new?

oh wow--where the heck is everyone???get up get up --it's monday!!start the week!!!!!! sun is shining britely here and i am trying to pretend that i do mondays!!!!! well- our sunday was spent bemoaning the roofing job that was done on saturday-it is shoddy work and michael is in an uproar.....he was on the roof several times including taking pictures of it and filed a complaint with the BBB online. i think he should get over it and learn from it--it is uneven in some areas and the course is not straight-however; the shingles are on there good and the few nails taht are showing can be tarred over. i am now hating this house and the village in which we live cuz he po'd the guy who did the work. so much of what he does trying to be parsimonious (frugile) comes back to bite him (us!) in the arse and i am so tired of it-- the lil creepo that did the work has threatened to come and rip the new shingles off the roof if he doesn't get the rest of his pay friday and we have had another contractor up there who says it's the worst job he has seen in 42 yrs in the business....our retired sheriff buddy says to call 911 on friday if there is an altercation here. great!!!!! annette; make room i may be moving in!!!!!! tonite is DAR mtg and i am excited to have that to look forward to. i'm sure the food will be lousy but the company is good! had almost 90 minutes of kitty loving yesterday and i still have to wonder if something is wrong with her to be so lovey dovey....she sat on me in my chair in the liv rm...allowed me to brush her and we just cuddled and purred for a long time...she had her face nudged into my elbow as deeply as she could get!!!!! i'm not complaining! just wondering???? i cleaned a bit of our room (vacuum /dust/etc) and brought my cpap back out yesterday...had difficulty getting to sleep with it blowing in my nose but i eventually got back into the breathing groove with it...i thought i was ok without it but have been waking self up the last few days so figured it wouldn't hurt to bring it back out...am hoping i will start to feel more rested soon.... well- hot rollers are turned on and i need to go get gorgeous for work.....hahahahaha ....like someone really cares there!!!!!!! sending hugs and prayers to all for  a great day!!!

Hi Margo, Perhaps she is getting lovey dovey because she misses you while you're at work. . .  cats remind me of men, they take us for granted when we are always at their beck and call. . .  lol Hugs, Laureen

hey! i would buy that one except thattthis is the cat who never ever leaves our bedroom--and sleeps her life away...this morning she was out running around the kitchen and living room- she tried eating some of my egg salad for breakfast..and got upset that i didn't have time to sit and cuddle...so i dunno!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone, Well, we had a HOT and yukky weekend.  I don't do heat very lady-like at all either.  Spent Saturday cleaning and running errands.  Sunday went so quickly I'm not sure it really happened. Today, I have a final appt. with the WL Surgeon.  Here's hoping I've lost enough weight to satisfy her.  grrr.......  My scale says yes but her scale will be different at 12 noon today I'm sure. Bought a treadmill yesterday and it's going to be delivered on Wednesday.  I doubt if hubby will use it as the doctor recommended but I know I will.  I got a whole workout just trying all the equipment at the store yesterday!  I could probably just go to Sears everyday instead of joining a gym.  Anyway, have a great day everyone, Hugs, Kathi

Hi Kathi, I love my old treadmill, even though we've been strangers lately! I have an appt with my surgeon Friday. It was suppose to be a couple of weeks ago, but I canceled. I haven't lost much lately and so I am a little worried he will say something. It's probably me just worrying as he is ok with the slow weight loss. He puts this little gadget on you and can tell how much water weight, fat and muscle you have lost. So that is the part that I worry about. I will be thinking of you and I bet all will be fine. You have been working so hard, hello, if we could lose a ton of weight with out the surgery, we would! Take care now, Cheryl

Oh Cheryl, I can't wait to have the treadmill here in the house.  I'm simply not very motivated to get outside and walk around here.  I've walked and walked around "here" and I've seen every bush and flower there is.  Besides I get interrupted visiting with neighbors and petting the kitties and puppies I run into. I hope you know you are making progress - no matter how slowly -- and the doctor is there to help you.  Don't put it off too long or it will simply stress you out.  Sure I can say this now because I'm not yet in your shoes.  My turn will be here before too long.  My doctor visit went great!  I lost 7 pounds the last two weeks.  Surgeon was very pleased and thrilled my stomach is nice and soft which she says will make her job easier.  We want her happy so since she's happy I'm happy!  LOL Thanks for the support! WELL ITS A SUNNY BUT CHILLY DAY HERE IN SAGINAW MICHIGAN....WILL SPRING EVER GET HERE TO STAY???? WE HAD FROST WARNINGS OUT FOR LAST NIGHT...GEZZZZZZ

DIDN'T GET MUCH SLEEP LAST NIGHT NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON HERE....STRESS I GUESS WITH ALL THATS HAPPENING IN MY LIFE.....TOMORROW MORNING I GO SEE MY LAWYER ABOUT MY DIVORCE.

STILL HAVE A SMALL PC SCREEN...JUST CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT HOW TO MAKE IT BIGGER....OH WELL MAKES ME STAY AWAY LONGER SO I GUESS THATS OK....
