Congrats on the sale! That's such good news. And in this crappy economy!

Good morning my OFF family. I hope that your Sunday is as nice and sunny as mine is here in Portage. Judging from what I see today it is a typiclally wonderful spring Sunday morning!!! That is a good thing for sure. I am playing hookey from church this morning. I just want to sit and be a vegetable today in the privacy of my own home. lol Last night when I went to bed my tailbone was hurting so bad that I slept with the heating pad on low all night. I usually don't do that but I just hurt so bad that I couldn't even lay on my bac****il I got the heating pad on it. A long time ago I fell and broke my tailbone which is the cause of all my major back problems. Now that there is no fat on me there (there wasn't a lot ot begin with either and even less now!) you can fill my tailbone just sticking out. I am not use to feeling bones on this body!!!!! lol Bill is wanting to try out his new grill today and he wants a cheeseburger too so guess what we are going to do and what we are having! Mine without the bun but a cheeseburger anyway. lol He is wanting some corn on the cob too so he is going to put that out on the grill too. I love it on the grill and so I am going to have some of that!!  The birthday party went well last night. We ended up not having the fire since it started to rain. We were all looking forward to it but Mother Nature said that we were having different plans. Karissa seems to have enjoyed herself. I personally think that there is something not right with her. I remember telling Bill that several years ago and he told me that no there wasn't anything wrong. A couple of years ago he told me that he thought I was right with that. It is hard to tell what it is that is wrong but I see something. I know that they aren't going to look into it and so I only pray that when she starts school they will see it and find out just what is going on.  I better get going. I am sending love and big hugs to all today. My prayers are with all of you and special ones are going up for those who need them.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Well, I'm up again. Out on the porch this time. Loving it. All the birds are tweeting and flying around. I will read the paper a little then get ready, go to church and if I can stay awake, I'll plant the pots when I get home. Will probably take a little nap during the sermon! Have a lovely Sunday! Darlene:  You have my sympathies!!  My inlaws live in Fresno where they grow grapes.  We were there last October when it was in the 80s.  They had the whole house closed up and a fire going in the fire place!!  Their rule is no AC unless it's over 100!   Here on the Washington coast it's in the mid 60s today.  Overcast and very pleasant!  Love that marine air.

Good Morning to "My New Best Friends" LOL Today is another gorgeous day here in Puyallup. Yesterday Mom and I went to the movie with my Granddaughter. The latest Narnia movie. It was very well done. It was so fun to see how excited she was. I had two pieces of popcorn, plain. Wasn't worth it. Mom is diabetic, so was I; we pack a snack pack of goodies to keep us both on track with our food. .......... After the movie we stopped by the nursery to pick up a few more plants for the patio. The day was soooo hot, even broke the record, and the humidity in the nursery made us feel as if we were in a sauna. It drained us both. We came home and peeled off our clothes. Nothing much was done in the evening. I need to plant this morning. ........... Today were are going to my eldest son's home. They have two new puppies. Austrailian shepherds The kids love this breed and have had a couple dogs. After the visit we will stop by the store for veggies. I can hardly wait for my 12th week when I can start adding veggies and fruit to my menus. I have a few cooked ones; carrots, green beans and zucchini. Well, I guess I better get my day started..... Have a great Sunday .... Millie

Boy it got here yesterday, too. Up in the 90's which is very very very unusual for May. It's capris time! Whoohoo!!! I did have an inmate tell me yesterday that I was too old for tattoos . . . he knew he made a big mistake saying that not too soon after that. LOL!

I need to get dressed and hit the grocery store. YUCK! Rick just cleaned out one of our junk drawers, whoohooo!!! My house is such a wreck . . . I'm starting FLYLADY tomorrow. . . Maybe in a year or two I can have this mess cleaned up! LOL! Where does the junk come from?

Today I promised my son and dil that I'd keep the babies (all three of them) for a couple hours so they can have a couple hours of time, just the two of them. Nick is a month old now, and he can be without mommy a couple hours, I HOPE!!! Grammy needs spoiling time!

Hope everyone has a great day, and stays cool. It's gonna be hot here again!
Joyful hugs,
Connie
