******** GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS ******** Today is a glorious sunny day here in Puyallup WA. Unusual weather for us but, hey, who is complaining? I started off this morning by drinking a bottle of H2O while watering the patio plants. Just finished breakfast. 1/2 C. cottage cheese w/ homemade applesauce ( mom's recipe ) and 1 teaspoon of FF (full fat) soft cheese. I also splurged.. would be easier if I didn't tell. One 1/4" piece of banana bread with FF cheese (about 1/8 tsp). I will have to be careful the rest of the day. Yesterday was healthy eating... no guilt there. I weigh myself tomorrow A.M. for my weekly total. ............... Today Mom and I are going with my Gdaughter to see the new Narnia movie. Natalie is all excited to go. We have a "thing" about the movies..... fun of course. .......... After the movie Mom and I will stop by the Nursery for a few more plants. That is a story in itself.... for another day. ......I will for sure need to watch my food intake since we will be in a prime snacking area (movie) and will be out and about away from our food routine. .......... I hope all of you will have a blessed and wonderful day. I know I am.. Millie

Hi Millie, Didn't realize you were so close there over in Puyallup! We used to "Do the Puyallup" at the fair every year. Our whole school got the day off for  "fair day." I love the west side. Have great day! Cheryl

******* Cheryl, Did we switch places??? I was raised in Spokane, lived on the northeast side. Went to Rogers High school. Was a military wife for 20 + years. Lived in and around Spokane on and off too. Over here I lived in the Graham area, Seattle and now Puyallup. It's nice to see people from nearby towns. I'm just up the hill from the fairgrounds. Could walk if it weren't for the Meridian hill. lol Hope you had a great day. Millie

Hello Sweet Linda.  Yes, we need to love ourselves and be kind to ourselves.  I don't do a good job of it, though, so thanks for the reminder. I got Sammie to eat some peanut butter and take her arthritis medicine by smearing it on her lips so she had to lick it off.  Broke her arthritis med into 4 tiny pieces and put it in the peanut butter.  She got in about a teaspoon full of peanut butter.
