she is a fire fairy, I'm trying to get out of my dark place and not succeeding too well. Thought being I dance with fire that she might help....... If only I looked like her....sigh.....

In our minds we can be anyone we choose to. Now if only wishing could make it so.  What's the saying: "Fake it til you make it?" I know the head is a powerful thing and that when mine works like it's meant to it can do great things.

Hello Jill...sorry to hear that you are having this problem.  As Darlene has said it is a pretty simple solution. You will be fine for the graduation and party. Congrats to your son!! Hugs, connie d

Hi Connie- Thanks for the congrats and good wishes. My prayers are with Nic and your family also. I feel bad complaining about such a simple thing when things are so much worse around us!  Best of Luck,

Jilly, I am sorry that you are having some problems. I have never had the problems like that. I am keeping you in my prayers that you will soon be back to your old wonderful self. I am sure that you will be fine for your big week end. Tell your son congratulations on his graduaion.

Hey Brenda- All the vomiting helps with the wt loss, but that's not the way I want to do it. Feeling pretty tired, too. Thanks for your prayers. Can't believe my baby is graduating, but thank goodness he is!!

Sorry you're having problems. I have never had a stricture, so I can't begin to know what you're going through. I have had my GI doc dilate my esophagus and it's really nothing; it's like an EGD -- you're put under general (or in my case, I was awake but pretty doped up with some good drugs and able to watch it on TV) and they put the scope down your esophagus and open up the stricture. It doesn't take long; you should be fine. I was dilated because I was hacking up mucus a couple of years ago; my GI doc regularly checks my esophagus because I have Barrett's esophagus, a precancerous condition. I was fine, but he opened it a tad and took samples ... all was well. I just have esophageal spasms. I always knew I was a bit of a spaz

Hi Eileen- Yup, I have had EGD's before, so I know the drill. (Too bad you can't get that med they give you to go!) Glad your esophagus is staying benign with the Barrett's.

Hi Hi,

Sorry to hear you're having a "bump" in the road but it sounds like it's common and they're gonna fix you up.  You have your graduation and party to look forward to so it should all work out!

Take care of yourself.

Kathi
