Good morning to my OFF family. I hope that today is good for all.  The sun is shinning here again today. Bill said it was nice outside so he opened the sliding door and I think it is a *****illy but not to bad.  We have our great nieces 5th birthday party this afternoon. Karissa turned 5 on Wednesday and they are having a cook out and a fire this evening for her.  Misty is looking out over her back 40 acres and she is watching something but I am not sure what. She was peering around the door frame at what ever it was but now she is in front of the door and ready to pounce on what ever it is. lol She is so goofy most of the time. This morning when I was going potty she got up on the vanity and was staring at herself in the mirror. Misty certainly does love Misty. lol Bill is gone to get a few more bricks for the patio. He is going to lay bricks and put the grill on it at the end of the patio. This grill is ALOT bigger than the one before and if he leaves it on the patio we aren't going to have much room on it. I will be glad when he gets it done since he becomes obsessed with things until he gets them done. lol I am thinking about going to some yard sales but not sure if I really want to. I want to go but I am not sure if I really want to go that bad. lol I haven't been to any yet and they started here a couple of weeks ago. Ella and I usually go together but she is taking care of Izzy, her granddaughter this week end. When she gets out of school for the summer she is going to be spending more time in Indianapolis where Sarah and Matt and Izzy live because she is going to watch the baby when Sarah goes back to work. When they are going to put her in day care I am not sure. They found the one they are going to put her in before she was born.  Bill got the flower bulbs planted the other day. I hope they hurry and grow since I love to look at flowers. We planted some glads, mini amryilis, lilies, strawberries and a bleeding heart. There is couple of others but I don't remember what they are. Sure can tell that I am the flower looker and not the planter! lol I have been working on losing the 2 and 1/2 pounds that is going to put me Onderland. Why is when you want something soooo bad it seems to take forever for it happen? I have been working on it for the past couple of weeks. Just 2 and a 1/2 pounds is all I want, at least for now!!!! lol Better get going. I am sending love and big hugs to all. My prayers are with all of you and special ones are being said for those who need them. Have a wonderful day and remember that spring is here even if the sun isn't sure it yet!

that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hang in there Brenda, I got stuck just above 200 pounds for ages and ages. I was ready to shave my head to see if that would make the scale move.   Try increasing your protein and water - that often gets things moving. Annette

We were up for coffee in the middle of the night then slept in until after 7 this morning. Strange hours we keep but in synch with each other so it works. We went to the annual plant sale at the high school. It was an overwhelming array of plants and vendors. In addition to the run of the mill geraniums, pansys and petunias, we got some Mexican Heather. Such a dainty little flower. I like a mixture of reds, purples and pinks on the deck.  It was sunny when we left home but has become cloudy and chilly. We dug in the dirt, everything is planted, swept up the mess, so let it rain. I went to a school carnival with Mary and the grands last night. There was food, games and all sorts of displays, not to mention about a billion people. give or take a few. The first room was the REPTILE room. Okay, deep breath and enter. Melanie has no fear of creepy crawly critters so I had to be brave. She was immediately drawn to the man with his snakes. Snake Man asked if she wanted to touch the snakes - well of course she did. Melanie had a look of delight, this was her first snake touching experience. He asked if grandma wanted to hold the snake? With a huge fake smile, through gritted teeth, I explained that being in the room was a major accomplishment. Thank God, he immediately understood and backed off.  The rest of the day I plan to putter and craft. That's enough for today. You have a good one too. Annette

Happy Saturday All!   It is a beautiful day here in eastern NC, highs in the mid-upper 70s, breeze is blowing, grass is cut,  weeds are growing, sun shining,  and the new grandson 'should' be coming home from the hospital today!   BTW - only 6 cigs yesterday and only 1 so far today.  I have to keep telling myself that everytime I light one up is one more day I delay my wls.  So keep my in your thoughts and prayers.  I keep saying over and over to myself " I do not smoke.  I do not want a cigarette.  I do not enjoy smoking."  I'm calling those things that be not as though they are...Romans 4:17.
Hugs! Donna L (finding_me) - I just know I'm here somewhere...

It's 4:09 pm and what a day. The scaled finally moved down, I hit a 3 week plateau.  My clothes felt looser but the scale wasn't my friend until today.  Most have been losing inches. Today I got my mystery box in the mail.  I had to open it and see all the goodies in it and no I won't tell what is in it, I will let everyone know later on what I decided to keep. We went to the library and had to confess to them that I lost a DVD I had checked out from there.  Then I checked out 10 books, I have decided to take my lunch break at work and read a book instead of driving home.  It will save on gas and will give me time to read one of my fav. hobbies. We then went to the store to buy some cottage cheese and walked out of the store $74.00 lighter and forgot the darn cottage cheese.  Maybe I will walk over there later on and buy just that. I am gonna make the chicken salsa recipe that is posted on here. I plan on  going through more stuff in the kitchen for our garage sale.  I need to clear out enough room in  there so we can put in a dishwasher. I am going to help mow the yard tonight, we will mow our neighbors too.  The neighbor man had a stroke and his wife is up at the hospital day and night and she doesn't need to worry about lawn duties.   Barb
