What's New - Saturday 5/18

It's nearly 8:00 a.m. here and no one posted for today yet, so here I am......let's hear what you have planned for today.

The weather is going to cooperate for the parade...had a few light showers early early, now the sun is trying to come out. Parade isn't until noon, so should be good to go.

wow! where is everybody??? i almost got up at 4 but decided that i didn't NEED to eat anything which is what i would have done! we are waiting for our roofer to show-he called a few minutes ago...there goes money but it is important to get it done this morning we are on kitty poop duty-my son is selling his house; has a showing at noon and an open house at 1 and they went out of town last night so mom is going over to be sure sadie's box is fresh this morning and febreeze the house; turn on lights for the first showing etc...while we are out i think we will go to aldi's for a few things and then hit rally's for lunch-that's the extent of our splurging!oh and go pick up our tiller. we actually had sunshine and gorgeous weather yesterday-got our lawn mowed and it looks nice! today is overcast and chilly but it is still early...looks like good napping weather if you ask me!!! my weird kitty story: ok- my callie cat doesn't do much of anything so i almost never have anything to tell about her- last night; i was using the commode when she arrived at my feet looking as if she wanted to be picked up (that in itself is an ODDITY!!!!!!!) so i obliged--she climbed onto my lap and snuggled in as if we were going to spend the evening there....after a bit; i finally had to remove her cuz michael had dinner on the table waiting for me!!!! anyhow-that's my kitty story! nothing compared to the antics of scooter and nettie and diva or annie and tony and joey etc..... have no clue what else productive we are doing today or tomorrow - i'll check back to see how my family is doing! hugs and prayers

Margo, I seldom sit on the throne without one in my lap or an audience. If I sneak in the bathroom and lock the door, they sit outside the door and have a fit. Little perverts!

my ernie (cat) was a lover and it didin't bother me if she joined me on teh throne- she was such a lover bugg...but callie is soooooo aloof and actually unfriendly somedays...so it seemed so out of character!!!!!! and i felt horrid disrupting that wonderful moment with her but michael had dinner on the table and would have been p-o'd if i had not re-surfsced soon!!!!!

MORNING....WELL THE SUN IS SHINING HERE AND ITS 61 NICE!!! JUST TOOK BANDIT FOR HIS MORNING WALK AND IT WAS SO NICE TO WALK IN THE STILLNESS OF THE MORNING....BIRDS CHIRPING AND NO MOWERS RUNNING!!! AHHH PEACE AND QUIET!!!! THE BIOTCH ACROSS THE STREET HAS A LANDSCAPER DOING HER YARD....LOOKS LIKE CRAP TP ME HOW SHE HAS IT DONE....MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR (YEAH THE SEXY ONE) HAS HIS HILLBILLY GIRLFRIEND LIVING THERE NOW AND SHE IS A LANDSCAPER AND THEY HAVE ALSO BEEN DOING HIS YARD...IT IS LOOKING REALLY NICE BUT I DON'T TALK TO HIM ANYMORE....SO HE WILL NEVER HEAR A COMPLIMENT FROM ME ON IT....OH WELL MY YARD LOOKS LIKE CRAP BUT THE GRASS IS CUT I JUST CAN'T AFFORD TO PRETTY IT UP THIS TIME....PLUS NOT SURE HOW LONG I WILL BE HERE IN THIS HOUSE.

YESTERDAY WORK WAS SUPER BUSY SO THE DAY WENT FAST....WAS TIRED OUT WHEN I GOT HOME SO JUST RELAXED REST OF THE DAY....HAD A HEADACHE LAST NIGHT SO WENT TO BED EARLY....STILL NOT FEELING RIGHT...NOT SURE WHAT IT IS....I AM TAKING MY MEDS ON TIME AND ALL SO ITS NOT THAT....MAYBE ITS KNOWING I HAD MY LAST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY YESTERDAY....WOULD BE 23 YEARS....SIGHS.....WHAT AN END TO A FARCE OF A MARRIAGE.

WORKING TODAY ALL DAY THEN TOMORROW 11-4 SO NOT TO BAD....NICE TO COME HOME TO A HOT MEAL AND A GUY THAT MEETS ME AT THE DOOR WITH A KISS AND A BIG HUG!!!! I COULD GET USED TO THAT!!!!!

Morning all! 6am here in Washington & the sun is shining! We are looking at another 90+ day, I love the heat. My weekend is so full, groceries and laundry, as usual, fitting for my dress, son's wedding in 5 weeks. Dry run to the hospital for my pre op tests. Tomorrow Church and coffee with a new group of pre op gals here in Vancouver. When do I take a breath, oh & I need to prep the trailer for next weekend. I'm tired and I just got up!!! Good Morning All Not much going on here today.  It's the first day of my vacation and I had planeed to work in the yard.  Got up about 2 hours ago, and it was already 60 degrees...Big Whoop!!!  Anyhow, it was also windy, and of course, it just started to rain.  It seems like April and May got switched this year in Western NY.  April was warm and sunny, and May has been really lousy.   Oh, well.  Guess I'll catch up on laundry, pick up a few groceries, and do some painting inside.  Some day I'll get that trim done.... I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  If it's sunny, go outside for me and soak up some Vitamin D.  I could sure use it ! Candy

Happy Saturday Pat and Everyone! Nice to see you start What's New this morning, Pat. Up early today and ready to get going.  Need to run errands before it gets too hot.  I don't do heat very well or very lady-like.    Maybe someday.  But...... the scale says I lost 1 1/2 pounds this week so I'll take it.  A nice positive to motivate me this weekend! I had no doubt!!!!    Since I'm taking care of the grandkids today & we can't go for that walk, I did a mile this morning on the treadmill.   Funny thing, I can go alot faster now that I weigh less.  I did 1 mile in 18 minutes.      Believe me, the exercising is going to get so much easier!!!

Thanks for the good wishes, Jan......  I think I'm going to give up the space in my tiny condo and get me a treadmill.  I think I'd really use it.  How many leg lifts and old fashioned exercises can a girl do, right?  LOL You did great getting one mile in and having the grands around today!  Way to go for you, too! Enjoy your day... 2dles!
