Hey Linda, I hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!  It's raining cats and dogs here and my knees are killing me, but I'll be going to workout anyway...mostly upper body.  My menu is the same as always! Protein Shakes, Cottage Cheese & Fish....boring   Thumbs Down

I am making your chicken recipe this weekend. Lots of times your menus rock, they will again. Sorry about the knee pain, but I am impressed that you push on!! God bless...and HUGE HUG!

Hi Linda, Yay! Friday! I want 2 Saturdays! Had some pulled pork yesterday at work for Hawaiian Days and it was very good! Had to be very careful as it often sits wrong, but I did pretty good. Dropped a 1/2 lb finally and got to see a new number that I haven't seen since my 20s. WOW! Not any big changes in food, today is a BBQ so we'll see what is there that is healthy, if anything, and will add to my lunch, if I can, otherwise same lunch for me, but with cottage cheese instead of meat and cheese. Still would love more sleep and less pain. But then I'd miss checking in here at OFF. Take Care, enjoy your Friday Linda Lou! Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, I vote for the two Saturdays too!! Wow!! The scale has moved and what a feat, a weight not since your twenties!!! Yay!!!!!!!! There will probably be a piece of chicken you can enjoy at the bar b que,glad you had sun yesterday. I think we do so well when we sleep, my doctor changed the strength of my elavil, it is an old drug, it has helped me sleep so much better and treats my fibro too. Have a good Friday!

Good morning sweet sister Linda. I am so glad that today if Friday. I am going to get the week end with my little hubby. I love spending time with him.  I haven't been on for a few days. I wasn't feeling good but I am doing better now. Still not up to normal me but better than I was doing.  The sun is shinning and so it is a good day. They are suppose to be paving my street today. The last time they were going to do that they stood around for almost 4 hours and then decided it was wet. Well, DUH! It rained all night and we had big puddles so what took you so long!? It must be the male DNA~ which I always call Dumb Nuts Association! At least as far as the opposite sex is concerned. lol Same old stuff for my food today. I am going to concentrate on the water. I found out at the doctor appointment yesterday that I have been dehydrated. So I have to do water and more water now. I hate water!!! I always loved it but now since I HAVE to drink it I don't like it. Last month doc's PA told me to stop waiting a half hour before the meals to drink. She told me I could eat 5 minutes after drinking. She told me that would give me an hour and a half more a day for me to drink.  B: sf oatmeal w/o milk and a banana L; ham and cheese roll up and and whole wheat toast w/ peanut        butter D: fish and veggies S: ? Better get going. I hope your friday (hooray for friday!!!!) goes wonderful for you. You are in my prayers and I send you lots of love and hugs too. It is soooo good to  back home again!!!!

Brenda, how wonderful to hear from you! Glad to hear you are on the mend. I hate water, so I use Wylers to flavor it, makes it a treat and so much easier to get down. You made me laugh about the men! I hope you enjoy your hubby as always. Take care!

T.G.I.F Linda! I'm so glad it's Friday.... not sure I could do one more "get up."    I'm being very good with my food plan but not seeing more than 1/2 pound weight drop.  I will be patient though.  It will happen.  It will happen.  It will happen! B-yogurt and protein shake L-green beans and chicken D-fish w/veggies S-protein shake and maybe some jello Hugs and I hope you have a GREAT weekend! Kathi

Hiya Kath, it happens slowly, one inch and ounce at a time, but it will happen is sooooo right! I have had to lose so much, accepting a total life change was the hard part, accepting my addictions which are always waiting for me. Hang in there girl, after WLS it gets easier, but there are still some white knuckle days for some of us. That's why when someone says this is easy, I want to deck them! Hugs and love!
