UPDATE ON MY FINGER

WELL I SAW THE DR ABOUT MY FINGER THIS MORNING...HE TOOK ONE LOOK AT IT AND SAID HE WANTED TO RE-DO IT!!! I ASKED HIM IF IT WOULD BE 100% IF HE DID SURGERY AGAIN...HE SAID HE DIDN'T THINK SO. SOOOOOOO WHY BOTHER??? HE SAID WITH THE SCAR TISSUE THERE IT SHOULD COME OUT BETTER THIS TIME...KEY WORD..."SHOULD" SO I TOLD HIM NO THANKS...I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH WITH THIS FINGER AND HURT IN MY LIFE TO LAST ME FOREVER AND A DAY....HE SAID IF I CHANGED MY MIND I KNEW WHERE TO FIND HIM. I TOLD HIM THANKYOU FOR WHAT HE DID TO HELP ME.....HE ALSO TOOK THE BILL ON WHAT I OWED HIM AND TORE IT UP!!!! I DON'T OWE HIM ANY MONEY AT ALL NOW!!! OMG!!! I WILL SEND HIM A THANKYOU CARD FOR THAT ONE!!!!

SO THATS ALL MY NEWS ON THE FINGER...CLOSED SUBJECT NOW......ITS ALL OVER AND DONE WITH...LIFE GOES ON......

 

Well,that's good and bad news. I guess if you can use your finger, that is fine. I wonder if he tore up the bill because he failed (I am a child of the 60's). Hugs and love babe!

THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING....BUT WHO KNOWS WHY HE DID THAT....MAYBE HE LIKED ME WHEN WE MET IN THE GROCERY STORE??? LOL

Judy...I am sorry your finger isn't 100%. I guess if there weren't any guarentees I wouldn't do it again either. That was wonderful of the doctor to tear up the bill.....not many would do that now a days. Bless his heart. You deserve a break on something!!! Hope you are having a great time with your honey. That was really nice of the doctor to tear up your bill!  Not too many would do that!  So sorry your finger won't get any better.  What percentage of usage did you regain?  Working on rehabilitating my thumb, I can see improvement, slow, but improvement.  I've been told too that it probably will never be 100%, I'll settle for 75% with no pain   At any rate, if it doesn't bother you, don't mess with it. MY FINGER IS OK FOR USING IT BUT NOT FOR GRIPPING THINGS TIGHT....STILL HAS A BEND FROM FIRST JOINT TO TIP THAT WILL NEVER BE STRAIGHT AGAIN....I WOULD SAY ABOUT 85% IF THAT MUCH....ONLY BOTHERS ME IS WHEN I AM TRYING TO GROOM BANDIT AND I CAN'T GRIP THE BRUSH OR COMB GOOD...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
