Have a Surgery date

I  have been reading and spending some time here and just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery date is June 12th one day after my birthday so new one will be one day later.

Jan, congratulations on getting your surgery date.  That's quite a birthday gift!  We had relatives who lived in Garland, TX for many years.  They're now in Cabot, AR Debbie

Hey Kathi, it's getting close to your surgery date -- isn't this exciting? Do you have your bag ready for the hospital? I've been buying little things that have been suggested here, but suspect we won't need much for the short stay of only 2 or 3 days. Anyway, best of luck to you. My surgery will be the same week, 6/2. It seems we have many adventures awaiting us. I'll be looking for your updates. Marilyn W., Memphis

Hi Marilyn, No, I'm not packed yet!  LOL  I still have trouble believing it's around the corner.  I go back to the surgeon on May 19 and I think it will become more real then.  My daughter has plane reservations too.  You'd think that would make it more real wouldn't you?   I really don't plan to take very much to the hospital.  I just can't imagine needing very much.  They recommend staying in the hospital garb so I'm doing everything I can to encourage people to not come and visit!  You're up first..... then me...... then Jan here on the 12th.  It's exciting!
