Monday- What New with you!
Hi Amie and all OFF'ers! Aime, sorry about N, but glad you felt good enough to take care of LP and see "the boys" for Mom's day! I got a lovely text message from my son at 6pm Mothers Day whilst I was at the grocery story. "Happy Mothers day mom!". I called him today and chatted just a few minutes with him. I did visit my mother and got her a "bubble shirt" like I had at Pittsburgh, only hers has lots of teak and raspberry colors in it, very pretty and will look good on her. I also made her a watch with Swaroski crystals in it. I guess she liked it. She seemed to but did mention I had made her one before too......Work today was busy and confusing but I guess that too shall pass.
I have a cute story (not really) about my foster dog "Sgt Pepper" who actually bears a similar attitude to "Harlan Pepper" that I had several years ago. Saturday I had a massage therapy appt since my shoulders and arms have been really bothering me. it was at 8"30 am and we had to be at the adoption event at 10am not too far from where the therapist lives, so I plop him in the car and off we go. I was in the house for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I came out to the leash (described as indestructable) gnawed into pieces. The seat belt on the passanger side chewed in half AND one handle to my tote bag chewed in half along with a slit in the bag itself. Hmmm, one little 25lb beagle did all that in that short a time.....Wonder Dog here? I could only laugh. crying wouldn't help! Little Sh!
