Good morning, Linda!  I'm a happy camper today because I finally broke my 3-week plateau and as of this morning, have lost 70 lbs! B:  protein shake made w/ 1 c. skim milk S:  1/2 c. cheesecake cottage cheese pudding L:  2 oz. steak, 1 cup spinach salad w/ Wishbone Salad Spritzer S:  1/2 c. Mandarin cottage cheese D:  1/2 c. chili, 1 cup spinach salad w/ Wishbone Salad Spritzer S:  4 oz SF pudding Jean

Hi Linda, I overdosed on peanut M&Ms yesterday.  I don't know what set me off but I had to have them.  Unfortunately they didn't affect me whatsoever, that's a bad thing.  Today I am back on track. B - 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese, 1/3 cup leftover egg salad S - none L - Manhattan Clam Chowder S - yogurt with blueberries D - Tilapia with spinach S - Some Edy's 1/2 the fat ice cream Happy Mother's Day to everyone. It's a beautiful day here.  Will be doing housework but will have to get outside too. Bev

Is it not wonderful how we can get back on track?? Remember when one down fall meant we through it all away? No more diets...yay!!

This is my first post about my meals. I have tried FitDay but don't care for it and am working on the daily plate but can not figure out how to enter the small amounts of food that I am eating.  Today so far.... Breakfast 1 slice of American cheese 1 small slice of multi-grain toast , no margarine 1 cup hot tea Lunch 2 Tablespoons FF cottage cheese 1 Tablespoon SF applesauce small amount of 2% Fage and some frozen strawberries Dinner will be Hormel roast chicken 1/2 slice Tablespoon of potatoes green beans maybe, have not tried them since surgery. PM snack   Unjury protein shake Is there a protein bar that is good tasting and appropriate for 5 weeks post-op? I have avoided them so far.  Gena

Hiya Gena, I like the South Beach Breakfast bars. Protein bars can be funny, so if you can get some samples, try for that. They were always to heavy for me and gave me gas. Lots of luck.

Hey girl, how was the play?  Hope you enjoyed your evening with Olivia.  George suggested we go out for lunch.  Went to one of our favorite places where we used to go for all you can eat boiled seafood.  Don't do that anymore!  The last time we went there, they had the best grilled catfish, sooo.  Got there, we both ordered grilled catfish.  The waitress comes back and says, "I'm so sorry, we don't do grilled until after 5 PM.  How about fried."  George and I both said no thanks, and were prepared to walk out.  She went back and talked to the chef.  We got grilled catfish!!!!  And it was delicious - three big fillets each.  I ate one and have lots of leftovers.  It came with a green salad and potato salad.  Ate the most of the green salad, and a few forks of the potato salad. B - protein shake S - protein shake L - grilled catfish, green salad, and a little potato salad S - cheese and apple D -  we'll be at a Zephyr's game - might smuggle in a protein bar or shake S - deli ham and cheese roll up

Good for you for getting your grilled fi****he play was excellent, brought back a lot of memories from when I was younger. Sounds like you are having a fun filled weekend...or had it..good!

Hello Princess Linda.....how is my favorite OFF person today?? I started out having a great day. I went to garage sales with my friend Pam. There were over 60 of them in one area. Then it started raining....hard. Most places closed and we went home wet to the skin and freezing our butts off!!  We did find some good bargains to start off with. Oh well there will be others! We did hav e fun. B-yogurt w/kashi and string cheese S-protein bar L-Cod and brocolli S-banana D-rest of cod and  California Mix veggies S-SF pudding Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Was the play fun? I hope you enjoyed yourself!! Happy Mothers Day Mother's Day Flowers  Love and hugs.....Boo....to you
