I know this is morbid, but it's one of those things that popped into my head a few days ago. Remember several years ago, a famous musician's young son fell to his death from a window I believe in New York. What was the musician's name. I say Eric Clapton, George says Robert Plant. Help! Debbie

Eric then wrote a song for his son, called "Stairway to Heaven"

I think Stairway to Heaven was by Led Zeppelin. It was the first and only song I danced to with my DH when we were dating was back in the 70's. Today is our 33rd annviersary

He wrote the song "Tears In Heaven" for his son's death. It is a song that plays a lot at Compassionate Friends. At least it does here. Not sure about the other places. Another song that is popular with Compassionate Friends is "The Dance". The son by Eric Clapton is just beautiful. It says about everything that a bereaved parent feels.

I am also a Compassionate Friend. I haven't attended a meeting in a very long time. It is nice to meet someone else that knows of the group. It was my life savings during some very very bad times in my life.
