OT: Gov'mt Stimulus Checks
I'm not sure what GTG is, but I think I want to be there too! Are y'all planning another get-together. I'd like to suggest New Orleans! There could definitely be a good time had by all (right, Debbie?) Jen

we had one planned in new orleans a few years ago--then miss katrina roared her ugly face right before hand...the group ended up going to atlanta and had fun!
plan it and we will come!!!!! but be careful...make sure you are ready for us cuz we are a (great) group! don't put it out there til ya plan it thru--ask janet w or lora and mary baseball mom!!!!!

Your post was perfect. I was just talking to my husband wondering what the address was for the IRS. My daughter was just informed that they will not be getting their $600 because she filed a day late.. Sadly, my SIL mother passed away during that time and he was in Hawaii a week before my daughter and din't get bac****il after the taxes were due and even tho she flew over to Ha for several days for the funeral she forgot to get his signiture so they are really bummed as they can really use the money. Thanks again for posting th site address! Sorry to hear about your hubbys teeth! That is sucha bad deal.

Well, we got ours today. The bank said that it was deposited on Monday for some reason. I thought they were always deposited on Fridays. Oh well.
Bill bought me a new swing this morning for my Mother's day and my birthday. I also would like to get a fire pit for the patio but not sure about that yet.
Bill is getting a new gas grill and since his is soooo expensive his is for his birthday, our anniversary and Father's day too.
I have a bill to pay with it too. Gosh~I sure hope it grows some since we didn't get what we thought we were going to either. Oh well, it is better than nothing at all. Something tells me that it isn't going to grow, but can't blame a girl for hoping!!!

I got mine yesterday, was hoping for $600 since I am still working, but only got $300....hopefully it will pay for new floor covering in my little bathroom.... I guess I fall under "senior citizen" -- ha ha!
Incidently, the checks are direct deposited, if you did your tax refund that way, and it's a couple times a week.
I would check into that deal about not getting a check because they filed a day late ....don't think they can hold that against anyone....maybe they make too much $$$
