what's new saturday?

Good morning all my OFF family. I hope that today is treating you all well. So far so good here.  We went and got Bill's new grill. He and David, our nephew is putting it together right outside on the patio while I speak. I have his daughter, Karrisa in here with me. She is like her mother, a bit strange if you ask me. lol She is watching Strawberry Shortcake and moving around and getting into things. She is going to be 5 this month and she seems like she is behind to me. But then again what do I know. lol Bill is delighted with his new grill. When we got home he then told me that he forgot to get the new gas tank. I told him that it is just going to wait now because we have other things to do today. They are busy getting it together and it is a lot bigger than what he had before and now we have to find another place to put it. I think that he is going to have to put bricks at the end of the patio and put it there. If that is the case then I can kiss my fire pit good bye. Since then we aren't going to have anywhere to put it. After they put the grill together they are going to do my swing. I just can't wait until I have another one to sit on. That is where I have no stress at all and I am in heaven right here on earth. It isn't as big as the one I did have but we don't have as much room as we did when we got the old swing. But then again we got that when we lived at the house and now we are in the apartment. Today is so sunny and nice. It is a bit on the cool side but at least the sun is shinning. I can do about anything when the sun is shinning. :-) Today is the big 50th party for Bill's cousins birthday. It is starting at noon but we aren't going to get there until later. It is going to go on for hours so I doubt that we are going to miss anything. Once his family gets together they never know when to call it a night. We women usually sit and talk and the guys talk and then they pull out their guitars and play and sing. Bill likes to play and he is a good singer but it is hard to get him to sing because he doesn't think he is.  I guess I better get going. I have some things to do around here and I have to keep Karissa occupied and that is hard for me. I know it is wrong but she is the one that drives me nuts because she is all over the place. David and Heidi just let their kids do whatever they want and I can't stand that. In the end they are going to be sorry but thank God it isn't my problem. I am sending love and hugs to all. Prayers are being said for everyone and special ones for those who need them. I will chat later on if I get a chance.

HI everybody, I read your post at work when I can but I have been working so much OT I don't seem to be able to get to the boards that much.  And I miss it!!!! The only thing new here is WORK, WORK, WORK!  It is getting OLD.   My son Matt is coming today and my son Tim will be in tomorrow for  Mother's Day.  I love it when all of us can get together!  Matt is the only one of us in Pittsburgh but the rest of us want to go someday soon!!!  I think I am just to old to totally adjust to a new place.   Since I have reached goal I am finding myself doing a little stress eating - could be all the work.  I haven't gained any weight yet and am trying to keep it under control.  Stress eating is such a devil!!!!  I am still exercising at least 5 days a week but I find myself getting tired a lot quicker while I am working out.  Starting to exercise at 8:30 PM is a bit late for me.  I did finally get my Zumba CD this week so I am going to try it out this weekend.  Can't wait.  Although after viewing it I think you may have to be coordinated and I am not.  (Laureen and Lou - do I need to be coordinated for this?) It is so good to read all your posts and keep up with you even if I don't respond often lately.  You still are my inspiration! Have a good weekend and a Happy Mother's Day to all you moms! Hugs, Jan
