I'm up and drinking my carmel truffle decaf.....Should be
cleaning, but my friend next door has overnite company so don't want to wake them up with my vacuum cleaner!!

Finished my cross stitch project, just need to find a frame for it today. Glad to put that "stuff" away for a while....have a couple new books I am just itching to read and need to work outside IF IT EVER WARMS UP!

Going to DS's tomorrow for lunch - he and I are having steaks, DIL and her MOM wanted chicken, so-----

Our Salad Luncheon went great yesterday - we served 86 people and ran out of everything.....it was a really nice sunny day, a little cool, but the community really came out.
Too bad our own church people don't attend - well a few come, but not like they should.

Good Morning! The post office delivered my pen supplies, so I will be at my lathe having fun! .... I have some Desert Ironwood chunks that are just begging to be a pen Do some cleaning and laundry.... the usual stuff... in between making pens of course

Hi Marc, Don't your finger just ITCH when you get a new piece of wood? Laundry and cleaning will wait so have a blast making your pen.

Morning Big Sis and All my other sisters and brothers! It's not raining, though the sun is not shining either right now, but the good part is it's not raining and hopefully it won't rain today at all since I have that long drive, don't mind the rain in daylight, but at night, not fun. . .  anyway, I've finished emptying closets of my "make due" old clothes and coffee is on, then I'll be getting my butt dressed and ready for the long trip North and east. Morning All I'm up, and almost awake.  It's my only day off for the next 8, and I hoped to sleep in.  Kitties had other ideas...  Been up for an hour, stumbling around.  I'm not so good in the mornings.... It's 42 degrees here at 8 am.  Yard calls, but I'm not answering for another 15-20 degrees or so.  Thought I'd pour a cuppa, and catch up with my sistahs.  Gonna move more bark today, and hopefully start weeding in the back.  Looks like an early start for the garden season, for Western New York, at least.  Can't wait to spend my money on new plants.   Hopefully will hear from the deck guy today and we'll set a day for next week.  I hate waiting for people! What's everyone else doing this weekend???? Candy
