Linda, Have fun at the play! good job on the weight loss...I am down 1/2 lb of what I gained... I am taking my cream cheese beef pickle roll ups today for a little change. Regular yogurt and kashi, strawberries and peanut butter and crackers. Protein drink for breakfast, yuck. Friday, yay! I made it through the night with no boogie man getting me! Tom made it to Philly, and then drove to New Jersey and made it safe and sound. That helped me sleep better too. Have a good day, dear. C

You sound great!! I happy to hear your weight is moving in the right direction again. We will stall sometimes, and some meds makes us swell and eat more!! Sigh!!! I try and remember this is forever, and I ain't perfect. I love hearing from you, this forum has saved me from many a wrong term...even knowing there are others who understand, and struggle. HUGE HUG!!! ...giggle!

Yes, TGIF!  I've lived through another week of verbal abuse and mental anguish with Dr. Butthead!  In the last two weeks, we've had two good days.  Believe me, I'm thankful for those two days.  Great job on losing 4 out of 10, you're on your way!  So what play are you going to see?  Hope you enjoy your night out, you so deserve it! Love ya! B - protein shake S - yogurt L - spaghetti sauce (no s'ghetti), salad S - protein bar or yogurt D - left over herb crusted fish, salad, veggies S - cheese and wheat crackers Last night I settled down to watch the Hornet vs the Spurs with a bag of microwave popcorn, ate almost half of it darn it, followed by a cup of coffee!  I was asleep before the 3rd period.  I had done so well all day, and gave in to the munchy monster.

The horse's arse is at it again...figures! I am going to see a play called...are you ready?? "For colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enough". It has all colors of women in it though. It was first done in '76, the year Olivia was born, so it should be intresting, to see how much things change, and how much they stay the same. Enjoy your weekend, try to look pass Groucho. Hugs!

Jean, care to share the recipe for almond panna cotta.  I love anything almond flavored. Thanks, Debbie

Debbie, 1-1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin 2 cups milk (I've used both skim milk & 2% milk, and it's better with 2% milk), divided 1/2 c. Splenda 1 tsp almond extract (or more if you want a stronger almond flavor) Whisk 1 cup milk with the gelatin and let sit 5 min. Combine another 1 cup milk with the Splenda in a small saucepan over medium high heat.  Remove from heat when it comes to a boil.  Pour in the gelatin mixture, whisking constantly.  Add almond extract.  Cool and refrigerate. Jean
