What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Thursday!!
I have found that this new life requires adjustment, and re-adjustment. As I get older, I find I must key into my flexability, as I am more and more a creature of habit. I hope everyone slept well, my food was good yesterday, I say when it it not, because if I can not be honest, what's the point??

Good morning, Linda, you sound better today. I did get some sleep last night, at least I don't have that "zombie" feeling!
B:Protein shake.
L:Deli sliced chicken, maybe a small piece of cheese and a prune.
D: Our guest is cooking chicken parmesan, and some veggies. Not sure whether I will have this or something else. He's a great cook but I don't do well with tomato based sauces.
S:Maybe some protein pudding.
Have a wonderful day!

Bonnie, just a thought here - could it be the acid level in tomato sauce that's bothering your tummy? In the beginning, tom sauce upset mine. I tried adding a little cottage cheese or ricotta cheese to my portion and it took the acid level down a bit. A long time ago, I read a recipe for an Italian dish that said to add heavy cream or half and half to the tomato sauce to cut the acid and make the sauce smoother. HTH

Hi Linda,
Well, my naughty ways over the weekend showed up on the scale today.
Rats!
I am having my usual today. Not sure about dinner, something easy and good for me as Tom is heading to New Jersey this am so I won't have to make something he can eat too.
Hope you are getting better and better. Take care K?

Cheryl, I've come to enjoy days when I don't have to be concerned about what George or our son will be eating! That's definitely a "ME" day. I have a stash of 1/2 cup and 1 cup containers of leftovers in the freezer just for ME - roast beef, chicken, chili beans, spaghetti sauce, or there's always protein bars or shakes!
Hope Tom has a safe trip!
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Yep, that is the positive part when Tom is gone, I can have less worry about what to make for dinner. I should do that, make up little dinners from leftovers and freeze them. Good Idea!
Just heard from Tom about an hour ago and he is in Philly driving to New Jersey. Saved a ton off of his ticket even with cost of rental and gas!
Now if I can just sleep tonight and not be afraid of everything my imagination can come up with, I will be fine!
