Oh Karen, your grandsons might not recognize you!  When we had our son's wedding in Vegas last July, my youngest niece (age 7 at the time) was kind of stand offish.  Finally, about two hours after the ceremony, she said "Aunt Suzy, why do you look different?"   Poor thing, no one had explained to her that Aunt Suzy was half the size she was the year before when we had last been together.   We're to see them for her big sister's wedding this July, so hopefully she'll remember me this time. Hope you're feeling better now.  I was very worried about you that you were headed down the same path as Annette and me.  hugs and smoochies

Susan

Hello everyone!!! I have to admit, I'm jealous and angry at myself for not having reached my goal.  It's my own fault.  I have been making poor eating choices.   My pouch is much too forgiving of what I put in it. However, that said, today I am preparing for a colonoscopy tomorrow.  Liquid diet completely.   My brother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, so I finally gave in and decided I needed to have my screening.    I want to be around for these grandbabies. My plan is to get back on track with protein first and lose the carb monster.  Hanging around with you all again is sure to help me stay on track.   I CAN DO THIS AN BY THE WAY, CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU GREAT LOSERS!
Joyful hugs,
Connie

Hi Aime and everyone: I miss y'all over the weekend. I hopefully will get my rebate check this week and be able to get my computer back shortly thereafter. The copy of Windows XP is the only thing holding this up, but otherwise it won't cost very much; the RAM was free (from someone else's computer) the CD burner was relatively cheap and his work isn't costing too much.  I had a lazy weekend ... jus****ching baseball, reading and relaxing. I did exercise, however; I have tried to be pretty religious about that lately, although I'm just cycling on my little bike and doing my leg and back strenghtening exercises on the floor. The next thing to add is my hand weights, if I can remember where I put them.  Went back to my therapist today; got to stop overspending so much or when I get out of bankruptcy, I'll still be in financial trouble. I just feel like I put myself in financial distress for some reason and then have to find a way to dig myself out of it. We had a good session. I know it's an addiction, just as bad as my overeating (which somehow I seem to manage OK ... if I find myself oversnacking, I move the offending food away from my recliner so I can't see it ... out of sight, out of mind). But I don't do that well on the overspending. Anybody know anything about Overspenders Anonymous? She wants me to join a group. I have to do some research. I have a feeling there aren't any groups that meet during the day, but I'll look. Well, that's all I've been up to. Aime, I'm glad you're getting to spend so much time with your grandson.

Good Evening my OFF Family....from you OFF Long Lost Brother! I finally finished the latest update of the OFF Directory and emailed it to Joyce, so you should be seeing it in your mailbox shortly.  The Directory sure is helping me stay in touch.  I'm afraid if I didn't do it for you, I'd drop out of sight completely. My job is still overwhelming and has gotten even worse.  Thursday they announced some big Executive moves and my boss is being transferred to Columbus, Ohio.  The person acting as Director is in Denver, so that means I'll be without a local boss for awhile.  The good news is that they are advertising for that position and my old boss (the one I love dearly) will be applying for it and has a very good chance of getting it.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've been fighting with the State of Ohio over my 2006 taxes for the past few weeks.  They sent me a bill for $1100 and when I called them they said it was because they denied my dual state filing.  How can they do that when I moved to a different state during the year.  Anyways, they said to send them a copy of my Indiana taxes.  The day I faxed it to them, I got another bill for $90 including late fees.  When I called them about it, they said it had something to do with my military retirement.  She said she'd transfer me to the person who was working on my case.  She transferred me to a phone number that was no longer in use.  I was ticked.  I called back and that person said they'd have the person call me that day or the next day.  That was a week ago, so I called back today "steaming".  The lady told me that their was a new note from today that they corrected my file, and you ready for this.......they owe me $360, so a check will be sent tomorrow.  $360 for me sounds better than $1200 for them.  Some people would've just paid them but because I was persistent, I get a refund.  At least something going right for me. Well, time to relax for awhile.  Hope all my sisters and brothers are doing great.  I miss keeping up with you daily. Hugs, Floyd
