Good Morning OFF- It's Monday!

Annette: We have a cat at ceramics that belongs to the owner of the ceramics room. The cat's name is Noah and he is a big Maine coon type of cat. He too likes to drink from the water on the table that we use to clean our brushes. He also likes to sit on our laps as we paint and he purrs up a storm. He doesn't come in often, but when he doesn, he plops himself down on the table right where somewhere wants to work. I remember Kittle and Cinnamon always had to be in the middle of my painting too (or crewel work or whatever crafts I was doing ... maybe that's why I quit doing them at home!) 

Eileen,  I think it's because they want to be the center of attention at all times. Paint plus cat hair sure gets messy. You were wise to take your crafting elsewhere. Annette

Hi Aime and Everyone, Sounds like you had a really great weekend, Aime!  Three generations is always nice when getting together. I spent yesterday running all sorts of errands.  Seems like we were out of everything all at the same time.  I had some trouble with my cell phone on Saturday so I went to the phone store and they updated everything for me.  Should work much better.  With hubby's health, it's important my phone work.  He needs to be able to reach me even if it's to just know I'm only a phone call away. We met my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson at the phone store.  They were discontinuing one model of a cell phone so they gave him the "purple phone" he was playing with.  Nathan loved that "purple phone" and was having more fun with it!  I thought I was going to have to buy it just so he could have it.  If you can imagine a 2-year looking at Gramma and repeating over and over "purple phone.  Hello Elmo!" and you will understand what I was up against.... LOL Today is kind of big for me.  I have the required pre-surgery class at the hospital where I will be having my surgery.  It's a 3-hour class and you have to bring a "coach" person with you.  I'm bringing my friend who is an RN so she should be able to help me understand things if I don't.  The hospital has this session right on the medical floor where you stay following surgery.   I had a bunch of papers to fill out for this and a questionnaire to answer.  They say they will go over it to see if you have things you need to have a better understanding about.  This paper requires my signature and my coach's signature to show you've attended this class. I hope to hear about getting final insurance approval this week as well and then they can set a date for surgery.  Won't be long now ****ep telling myself).  IF I can be half as successful as any one of you here, I'll be completely satisfied! You are the most patient person I know.....I swear I would have gone bonkers if I'd had to jump thru all the hoops you've had to....I hope and pray you will hear this week and maybe even get a surgery date....we're all cheering for you..and soon you will be sharing YOUR success stories with all of your OFF friends.

Thanks so much Pat! I think I might have gone bonkers before this without following the successful stories here on OFF.  It's getting a little frustrating believe me, but....... what can I do about it?  LOL  I have to go check in at the surgeon's office tomorrow and that will tell me where they think I might be in the system. MORNING MY OFF FAMILY....WELL THE SUN IS OUT AND THE SKY IS BLUE AGAIN...AHHHH SPRING IS HERE!!!!!!

YESTERDAY AFTER I GOT HOME FORM WORK I PICKED OFF ALL MY LILACS AND BROUGHT THEM INTO THE HOUSE...MMMMMMM I LOVE THE SMELL OF FRESH PICKED LILACS!!!!!! 

JUST BEFORE WORK ENDED YESTERDAY AL (ONE OF THE HANDYMEN) CAME IN AND HE WAS ON HIS HARLEY...WITH SIDECAR AND HAD HIS CHOCOLATE LAB CINDY SUE WITH HIM....LOL SHE LOVES TO GO RIDING WITH HIM!!!! IT HAS A COVER ON IT SO THE SUN ISN'T HITTING ON HER AND IT HAS A WINDOW FOR HER TO LOOK OUT OF!!! WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD MY CAMERA WITH ME!!!!! WAS SO CUTE TO SEE HER!!!!!!

ALSO YESTERDAY MY COUSIN CAME INTO THE STORE....OMG HE HAS HIS TONGUE PIERCED AND THEN HE SHOWED ME HIS TITS!!! THEY ARE ALSO PIERCED!!!!!! I ABOUT WENT TO THE FLOOR IN PAIN SEEING THAT!!!!!!!!!!! HE SAID HE ALSO HAD "YOU KNOW WHAT" PIERCED BUT NOT ANYMORE...OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE SHOWED ME MORE OF HIS TATOOS AND I AM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL....HE IS GETTING THE ONE OF ONE OF THE 7 DWARFS COVERED UP WITH A DRAGON TO GO WITH HIS WIZZARD THATS ON THE OTHER SHOULDER....OMG!!!!!!!!!!! HE ASKED ME WHEN I WAS GOING TO GET MY TATOO DONE...OMG NEVER!!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!! CALL ME CHICKEN IF YOU WILL BUT I WOULD NEVER GET THAT DONE!!!!!!!!! BUT I DID THINK OF HAVING BANDIT, SPIKE AND MAX PUT ON MY SHOULDER....BUT THE THOUGHT OF THAT NEEDLE GOING INTO ME...NOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

WELL I HAVE TO GO OVER TO LEGAL AID THIS MORNING TO REDO THE DAM PAPERWORK FOR DIVORCE!!!!! I LOOKED AT MY COPY AND THE ONLY THING I HAVE CHANGED IS WANTING THE HOUSE...I DON'T WANT IT ANYMORE....JUST SOME FURNITURE TO GET ME STARTED IN A NEW PLACE IS ALLI WANT....I THNK THAT IS FAIR....I JUST WANT OUT OF THIS LIFE HERE IN MICHIGAN SO BAD!!!!

FOUR MORE DAYS AND I AM ON MY WAY TO OHIO ONCE AGAIN THIS TIME FOR JOB INTERVIEW....CAN'T WAIT TO SEE RICK AGAIN AND SEE THE BABY!!!!! I WILL NOT FORGET THE CAMERA THIS TIME I PROMISE!!!!!!!!

WELL TIME FOR A WALK WITH BANDIT THEN OFF TO LEGAL AID AND THEN WORK ALL DAY....HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!!!!

Good Morning Aime and all, Sounds like a very nice weekend Aime. Annette, you are way more patient then me...but I know it's easy when you love those little critters. I spent some time in my scrapbook room last night. Was nice. Good Luck on your new job Margo! I'll be thinking of you. I will be thinking of you Kathi. Hope you get lots of info and glad you are getting closer and closer...very exciting! Back to work today. I will have a TON of work...all stuff that has to be done NOW! I am so tired this am too.... The weather here is finally springlike and so beautiful! Have my women's bible study tonight and I will go no matter what. It's about prayer and being a woman of prayer. I like it but I am just so dang tired after work. It's really worth going I just have to get there and I am over the hump.... Have a lovely day all, Cheryl

Good Morning Aime and everyone....... It sounds like so far everyone had a nice weekend. That is great!! Not a lot going on here today. Now that I have more of a voice I am going to make some phone calls. No voice for over a week has put me behind.  Time to start my work day soon.....UGH...another week!! Why do the weekends have to go so fast!! Went shopping for a little while with my giorlfriend yesterday afternoon. I found a cute pair of heels for work. They will look cute with jeans too. I am so glad that I can now where heels again. That is one plus with losing all this weight. I am barely 5'3" and need the extra height!! Talked to Nic a bit ago...he is on his way to radiation. He sounded in really good spirits this morning. He slept like 17 hours on Friday after school until morning. He said he feels much better now. Bless his heart! The sun is out....YAY!!! It is only 37 degrees right now with a forecast of near 70 today. I hope so...I will be ouitside for sure!! Have a wonderful day everyone.  Prayers, hugs and love....connie d
