Good morning Aime and all,
A grandma week end is fun but can be tiring. We would appreciate some new pictures of LP. He sounds like the perfect grand - well loved and lovable.
My resolve to keep the furbarats out of the room while I craft was a complete failure. It was impossible to paint with the commotion at the closed door so I let them in to watch.
Annie, Tony and Jimmy have been impossible. Tony tries so hard to jump on the tables and dressers with no luck at all. He is the most clumsy cat and doesn't hit his mark too often. He has managed to tip over my paints, the brushes and two lamps. Then he sits with a dumbfounded expression on his face and cries.
Jimmy loves to drink from the brush cleaning water. He insists on poking a paw in the water and attempts to dump it all over the table. I don't think water laced with acrylic paint is very healthy for a cat. Annie is an acrobat - no surprise there. She makes her way around the room by leaping from one place to another. The trash can is never upright because she thinks it MUST contain goodies. Over it goes. Lamps have gone flying, she puts her paws in my wet paint, and to annoy me further she chews on the brushes and cord to the blinds.
Joey has decided to perch on the clock and I can't see what time it is. Isabella, Nicki, Abigail and Becky just roam and whine. Eventually they will settle down as this new territory is more familiar. please?
Have a great day.
Annette
Annette, Your depiction of the furbrats is just too much, I'd think you'd be a good writer of furbrat stories. . . Hugs, Your baby sis. . .

Aloha Annette, dear one......You are such a soft touch with those furbabies!! How I devour your stories.....and have to tell you that I've had a book being written in the back of my mind for a couple years now called "Kaamaina Kitties." Kaamaina in Hawaiian means "born in Hawaii." I have a friend who is a illustrator.....and I think she would do the pictures of my childrens' book......it would be about my Popoki and Nickolas. I would LOVE to include some of the antics of your kids........they are just too visual and too funny!! I can already see a picture of a kitty walking through newly painted surface and then making kitty prints all through the house!!
Thanks for the laughter and the wonderful visuals.

Karen,
Your book idea sounds perfect. Include the antics of the furBRATS with my blessings.
Kitty prints indeed. A few years ago we had our basemen****erproofed. Part of the process included fresh cement around the inside perimeter. My beloved cat "JJ" walked over every square inch of the wet cement. He's long gone but his mark is there forever.
