I had a lap VSG 19 months ago, and I have never regretted it! My recovery was uneventful. Up walking the day of surgery and home the next day. I'm maintaining below goal and am full of energy and life. My only regret is not doing this years ago!
I had lap RNY at 56 years old. Spent 5 days in the hospital because I could not poop. Two days after I got out the hospital, I was back at work. No problem.
