Good Friday morning to you sweet Linda. I hope that the golden day of the week is being good to you.  Yesterday was National Stepmother Day. I laughingly told Shawn about it and he told me Happy Stepmother Day. I told him that I didn't even know that there was one and he said he didn't either. He then asked me if there was a stepchild day and I thought to myself that for you sugar everyday is stepchild day around here. lol Today is a busy day since I am going to the church this morning and going with Pastor to see shut ins and nursing home people and giving them communion. It is going to be nice to see the folks that I haven't seen for a while.  Misty is going nuts this morning at the patio door. She is a nut so why I say she is going nuts is beyond me. I should have said that she has gone nuts. She is seeing the birds flying around and for some reason she is excited about them. She sees them every morning and they don't do a thing for her so why today I am not sure. Here goes my food for the day. Kind of up in the air with it. I need to go get some stuff like cottage cheese and eggs and stuff like that. Maybe this week end.  B: hard boiled egg and cheese L: ? not sure since I am out with Pastor D: hoping Bill will take me out but if so probably chicken or fish S: popcorn  I am on a popcorn kick can you tell? Have a great friday and keep a smile on your beautiful face. I am sending you love and hugs today.

Hi there Linda! Well, my first day off since new job! Well, not counting regular weekend days off. I had a really good week at work. Having people tell me how happy they are that I'm back and that I have straightened up lots that was a mess. I think the people who didn't know me before are even starting to trust that I know what I'm doing and am not a one of the "flaky" Social workers they have been used to having in the past couple of years. We social workers sometimes have a stereotype we have to prove we are not. So anyway...am very pleased to have made the move. The weight continues to come off, slowly but that is ok with me. No new food changes. Scrapbooking Friday and Sat with lots of no no foods available. I always bring some of my own and pick and choose from theirs. Have a great day, Linda and all you all! Cheryl

Good Morning Pretty Lady!!! Today is dark and rainy and I don't like it. It doesn't help my depression a bit!!! I need the sun to shine!! Not much happening here today. A couple hours of work to do for my job and then I am off until Monday. I really need to get my voice back....I just plain need to shut up!!! I have no plans for the weekend....just resting and keeping quiet!  Nic is doing better with the chemo....new meds are working. I talked to him last night and he sounded tired but good. Carrie (daughter) had a wonderful birthday yesterday with her family. Wished I could have gone down there but just couldn't do it this time. I was just there on Monday so she understands. The rest of my family is doing well. No one is sick and all are happy. That is a blesssing!! Hope you are having a really good day. Prayers continue to flow your way!!  B-yogurt w/ kashi and string cheese S-fruit L-meatloaf and green beans (last of the leftovers) S-fruit D- talapia and steamed baby carrots S-SF pudding Hugs and lots of love to you my friend......Boo...to you!!

TGIF everyone!  cup-o-ambition with a scoop of protein(20 gms). B- 2 oz deli ham. S- Fuzzy navel protein drink(21 grms) L- 1 oz Laughing cow cheese and 1 oz deli turkey.S- Fuzzy Navel protein drink (21 grms) D- 2 oz FF refried beans and cheese. S-protein drink (20 grms)4 Multi vits and lotsa water.  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Hi Linda, I have my one year old niece's birthday party tomorrow.  I think I'll stick with ice cream.  My brother and my son are only four years apart.  My niece and my granddaughter are only 4 months apart and my grandson is older than my nephew - hee hee.  Lots of kids will be there which is always a joy to watch.  They all love their Auntie Bevy because she is a little over the top with her playing.  Hey their not mine, I can stir them up and then go home.Jumping Jacks Of course, my brothers and sisters love that - not. B - Pure Protein Bar S - Raisinettes L - 2 grilled Chicken Go Wraps from Wendy's - ate one whole and the other I just ate the chicken out of. S - Strawberries and Lite Cool Whip D - Meatballs and veggies Bev

B--pro shake, l--cottage cheese with avo,tomato,redonion lime and salt and fresh gound pepper. sn--power crunch bar d--pork tenderloin done in crock pot with onions and peppers. sn--popcorn-snack bag still have to do better on the water!!
