What we are eating,and what's eating us!!!!Thurday!!
Good morning Linda and Friends!
Linda, thanks for the recipe. It's very similar to what I do sometimes with chicken breasts, thighs, or shrimp, 'cept I use lots of garlic and of course Tony's (Tony Chachere's). Yesterday I made a vegetable stew (totally vegetarian, so I'll add cheese or have some type of meat on the side). George likes meatless meals occaionally.
B - 1 hard boiled egg and 3/4 of a small apple
S - protein shake
L - fish, vegetable stew, and a tiny bit of mashed taters
S - yogurt and granola type, high fiber cereal
D - vegetable stew with Parmesan cheese (no pasta), probably salad, and some type of meat
S - peanut butter and banana
Yeah!!! Friday is nipping at our heels!
Debbie
Linda - the recipe looks simple and tasty. Thank you. Most surprising is that you included measurements. That must have been tricky for a hand full of this and a pinch of that cook like you.
I bought a bag of frozen cherries to toss into my cottage cheese. Lordy but they are super high in SUGAR!! A full serving has 18 grams of sugar. A serving is one cup, far too much to eat at a meal, so I think a few will be okay.
You sound better the past few days - are you REALLY okay or just putting on a happy face for us?
Love
Annette
Thanks for the ideas Pat and Annette. I have wondered where I can get SF pie filling. I am going to WalMart and see if they carry it. I sure hope so. It sounds like it would be wonderful with the ricotta cheese mixture too. I want to try it with the cottage cheese too. You guys have made me a happy girl today.
