Good morning Linda and Friends!  It must have been the multigrain (with flax) tortilla wrap I had for lunch yesterday - today I have the runs!  I was wondering why my tummy was rumbling and grumbling, then it hit!  TMI!  I know flax seeds either ground or whole have that affect on me. B - protein shake S - protein shake L - baked trout, salad, and 2 tbsp. mashed taters (if the runs have subsided) S - yogurt or crackers and cheese D - We're going to the Hornets' playoff game after work.  I may try to sneak a protein bar in my purse just in case. S - apple and peanut butter or protein shake Food is up in the air because of above mentioned problems.  I definitely must be mindful of my fluid intake today.  I'll go forward, but not with much gusto unless it's a mad dash to the bathroom!

Linda, I talked to my nutritionist on the phone yesterday because I've been gaining weight even though I've made no changes to my eating or exercise.  She told me I need more protein and to drink a protein shake before I exercise in the morning.  This may end up adding calories to my daily intake, which terrifies me (I'm such a control freak), but I promised to try it for 1 week. B:  protein shake made w/ skim milk S:  1 oz Better Balance protein cereal w/ 1/3 c. skim milk & 1 banana S:  1/2 c. pistachio cottage cheese pudding L:  2 oz. shrimp, 1/2 c. roasted mixed vegs (asparagus, red pepper, & yellow squash) S:  1/2 c. Mandarin cottage cheese D:  2 oz steak, 1/2 c. cucumber salad S:  4 oz. mango custard Jean

I've got my Fuzzy Navel protein powder that I will have tonight.(21 grm)  This morning I mixed a little bit of coffee with my Unjury(20 gms) chocolate and a couple of ice cubes and put it in the Magic Bullet, and by the time I got to work, the head was off and it was drinkable. I'm also sippin' on a Isopure(40 gms) while I work.  I'm taking those 4 chewable gigantic vitamins a day so I think I'm covered, so the nut says.

Hi Linda.  Sounds like you're feeling pretty good.  Your little smiley faces are so cute.  It's hot there, so they're cutting their hair to try to stay cool?  It's usually pretty hot here in North Texas, too.  I think it got up to 85 today.  Thank God for air conditioning! The guy came out today to check my oxygen concentrator, and it somehow got turned down to 1/2.  Yikes, that's not good.  It's supposed to be set on 2.  I usually go to bed in the dark, but I guess I better start turning on the light and checking the setting first.
