What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Tuesday!
Sweet Linda - it feels like MARCH here. Too cold and snow predicted.
I think I have developed a new addiction ---> cottage cheese. It is quick, easy, and no cooking. Too bad Tom doesn't like the stuff.
Flax seed - what the heck do we do with this? I bought a bag, sprinkled some on my salad, but it looked like little fleas on the greens. Gag. Can somebody give me pointers?
b - cottage cheese, Kashi, pineapple
l - ham and cabbage
s- orange? OR apple & peanut butter?
d - ? don't know yet
Thanks for the extra Tuesday.
Annette
you need to grind the seeds, as we do not break them down in digestion. You can use a coffee bean grinder for them.
You can sprinkle in stuff you cook like muffins, pancake batter, in your oatmeal, etc. I am sure if you do a search for it you will come up with tons of recipes....
I don't use them. I can't use them fast enough to use up before they go rancid on me. I prefer to use things such as avocados for my omega 3's.

I think there are a few ways to use the flax seed...here is a great link: http://www.flaxhealth.com/recipes.htm
You are too cute and funny! I love cottage cheese too, and I am way into a non cooking mode these days...
Huggers, babe!
Good morning, Linda, I hope you are feeling better today.
Your cottage cheese and fruit sounds good, maybe I should try that. The NUT told me to eat more fruit, but for some reason, I just don't want it.
B:Protein shake.
L:Sliced deli meat and a prune.
D:Not sure, our guest is cooking. He's probably cooking Italian, so I may have something else.
Hope you have a lovely day!
Bonnie
