can ya feel the excitement????????????????????????????? i went last week to apply and today was my interview- the guy(Warren) (my prospective super) was very inpressed with me and i with him and he ended the innterview stating that he would decide tomorrow and make calls- he has narrowed to 3 candidates for 2 positions--so-ok i go to rite aid to pick up a scrip for michael -am waiting at the drive thru when my phone rings- "margo; it' s warren. please be here monday may 5th at 8 am with your driver's license blah blah.......i couldn't decide so i hired all 3 of you- i'll make the budget work!" well OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's just a part time job but it's mon thru fri 8 am til noon--pay is what i made at the insurance company but this is less than 10 miles from home that was 33 one way-and i can wear jeans and t's--i will be part of the PERS retirement system-cool!! i won't get rich but i will be able to make my car payments again and pay a utility or two!!!!it is to work as part of the Sandusky Cty clerks office-i'll be doing profiling and scanning of old documents-their "attic" and basement are full and they also have docs for other courts and a school system--so they have about 10 years' work!!! seems like a good crew of what i met today and warren seems like a fair super- my super at the ins company was such a nerd about managing ppl! warren is elected so must be doing something right! anyhow-- whooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo with it part time i can still be available for michael's drs appts etc and maybe he won't miss me so much and cause issues... i think this will be a good thing.... my own self worth was soooooo much better simply from getting this offer of employment!!!!!! |
I didn't understand this at first, and was scratching my head over the title. . . until I realized you were saying you got a job! Duh! I'm thrilled for you, as I know you've been concerned about things. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way that this is the beginning of lots of good stuff happening for you!
Hugs, Laureen

sorry it was confusing--my copy paste skliis today are not what they should be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
actually--after reading someone else's post just now--i think i am simply signing off for the rest of the morning--nothing you have said or done!!! simply have to walk away for a few minutes so i don't start an argument on the board....
thanks for the good thoughts!!!! yes; i think it will be the start of good things again!!!
Well darn, if you left then you won't get my jumping up and down happy for you hugg fresh. But thats ok It will do you good to get away from thehouse and spend time with people. I work 9-1 M-F and I love it, yes you will never get rich but it is nice to have some jingle in the pocket again. It sounds like a comfortable interesting but not overly stressful job. I am so so so Soooooooo happy for you. Blessings

my worst habit right now is my genealogy-costing me money to order death certificates etc!!!!!
