What's New Tuesday?
Morning Annette....
One more day and I am done with these long days. Today is the final for this class.
I spent the day in meetings yesterday.. long boring meetings. Afterwards I went to see my little boy. He was crying when I arrived. I picked him up, he sniffed, looked at me, and grinned that toothless grin.
I am proud of myself for something. One of my coworkers has always spoken to me in a less than pleasnt manner. Cutting remarks etc. I went to my director and asked her to tell him to stop. I told her that his demeanor was uncalled for and that he seems to think it is okay. I work hard and his comments are not appreciated. She said she would speak with him. She also noticed his comments yesterday. I don't know how she could have missed them as I finally got up and walked out of the meeting we were having as a result.
I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
I will be losing my feisty client - but for an excellent reason. She is scheduled to move into a group home. This is a giant step for her and of course I am thrilled. Her spirit and enthusiasm is tiring at times but she is a delight. My job is to help people grow and become more independant, and we have discussed the possible move for months. Looks like I did my job. Sob - I am going to miss her.
It's a small world. Talking to a woman at the support group meeting, I mentioned that I used to work in my uncle's restaurant. She said she knew the place, she was raised on South Hill. (that's where I was raised) Although now in her 50's, she was my brother's neighbor, my brother and her Dad visit every day. We grew up knowing the same families, probably each other too!
My brother had told her that his sister had WLS and lost a TON of weight and I knew his neighbor's daughter had WLS. Until last night we never made the connection. That was nice.
Spring is here ????? Maybe where you live. In Ithaca, New York it is time to get out the sweaters and long johns again. Brr cold and shiver.

Good Morning Annette and Everyone,
Loved reading the story about your client and the progress Annette. It sounds like a positive move. That's very nice to hear.
Aime -- Good you spoke up for yourself as nobody needs to work in such an environment. I hope you see immediate changes.
I've been catching up at work this past week. Nearly there but after so much time out of the office it's nice to not be too far behind. There are also lots of changes going on where I work. Management is making drastic adjustments and that's always a challenge for everyone involved. For me, it requires many changes in established paperwork but we adjust. Today is a doctor's appointment for hubby so we'll see how that all goes after all the testing he's been through. I hold positive thoughts and hope the doctor has something in his back of tricks that will be an improvement. It is what it is and we'll cope as we always do.
I hope everyone has a joyous Tuesday today and that something wonderful comes your way -- no matter how big or small.
Hugs,
Kathi
It's in the 30's here in southwest Michigan and my furnace has been running the past two days.....darn what happened to that nice weather we had a week ago. There is frost on the roof of the building across my yard.....hope nobody has new baby plants outside.
I've been on the recumbent bike for 32 min. and rode 4.5 miles also did my wt. lifting....so I'm good for the day!
Working on a counted cross stitch project every spare minute as I have a deadline of May 12th to get it done.....that usually gets me hard at it!
My "reward" necklace is almost done.....stopped by the jeweler yesterday and he showed it to me.....he was able to put all five diamonds in and it's going to be lovely. He offered me a job while I was there, but altho' it would be fun, don't think I want to stand on my legs for 8 hrs. at a time....besides I like my little part time job at the bank.
Piano students will be done for the summer in just 3 weeks. We have our recital May 18th and everyone is working hard on learning and perfecting their pieces.
Well time for my daily dose of oatmeal.
Hey, those of you who haven't been posting, don't think for a minute we didn't notice, cause we did. We miss you and hope you are doing okay. Sending gentle hugs your way...

Done! Your Ticker:
Good Morning, All
I've been up for a while, putting the finishing touches on my resume. I have the job interview at 1:15 this afternoon. There are 8 others interviewing, but I think I have a pretty good chance, as I've worked for the facility before and done a good job, and only left due to a merger and resulting huge layoff of nurses. The possibility of the new job and the interview have been all I've been able to think about the last couple of weeks. I need a change, and am hoping for a positive one.
I'll post when I get an idea of what's going to happen.
