Hi Linda and Everyone,
Well as far as weather...it is snowing as I type. Just half hour north of here has 5inches on the ground. Tonite is supposed to get down to 28. This winter has been soooooooo long. I was able to turn off my furnace last wk while I was away cuz it was in the 60's and 70's then the bottom dropped out....cold, windy and snow.
As far as breakfast...don't think you wanna hear about mine since I'm pre-op. I just polished off a container of cool whip lite while sitting here added to the scrambled eggs with salsa I had before that. Don't have any idea what for the rest of the day but I'm sure it won't be good.

Girl, you can put what you eat here, we do not care. Do what makes you feel good, but please keep sharing. The compulsions are something that is inside all of us. People think this WLS is magic, but believe me it is not. We all have to get up and make the decision to have healthy food each and every day, you will too. I do most days, but I am not Saint Linda...LOL.

Hi everybody! I haven't posted in ages. Just super busy with track, baseball, making earrings and generally just taking care of 4 kids. I'm really feeling frustrated where food is concerned, I knew that the munchie demon would rear his ugly head, but not as bad as this!!! I'm only eating healthy, but tooo much of a good thing is NOT a good thing. I have a check-up tomorrow and I'm freaked out about maybe gaining an ounce! My scales stayed the same but Dr.'s scales ALWAYS lie!! Wish me luck!
B - Protein Plus cerial With milk
L - Wasa Crisp with yogurt hot pepper cheese and a slice of roast beef
D - a Lean Cuisene of some sort
S - strawberries and ff yogurt

Hiya Mimi, my doctors scales are 6 pounds heavier than mine, but I still showed a weight loss. I would not worry about the weight gain or loss. It sounds like you are torturing yourself about the over eating, I hope this straightens out for you so you can be happy. I have been on the other side of this, especially when I have to increase my presdisone, just hang tuff girl, and commiting your food will help, because this way we have a plan.

Oh, Linda....today was going to be the day I got back on track. I planned my meals. I stocked my trunk with all the gym clothes that I would need all week. I even planned my wardrobe for the week. But alas, the inspectors *****gulate the nursing homes came to spend the week with us for their surprise annual visit (which I fondly call HELL WEEK!) That means a week of going to work early and leaving late and not even having time to eat a meal during the day. I will be lucky to fit in a snack--which of course means overeating for dinner. Waaa!
Next week! I promise!
I'm glad that you are back to work. It's good for the soul.
