What we are eating,and what's eating us!!!! Sunday!

Hello Linda and friends!  RAIN upset our plans last night and again today.  No baseball game, no fishing. Not doing well today.  One really bad choice this morning.  After Mass, I asked Ethan if he'd like to go to McDonald's for breakfast.  "No thank you!"  How about Burger King?  "No thank you!"  OK, what do you want?  "Donuts!"  Aw, kid.  So, off to the bakery to get donuts.  I tried being strong, but it didn't work.  I caved and ate half a regular vanilla donut, half a jelly donut, and a bite of a chocolate one.  I love my grandson to pieces, but am glad he's gone!  Since then, I've had a cheese stick, some ham, and cashews.  S - yogurt D - turkey and salad S - protein shake Debbie

Hi Linda, I hope you are feeling better and having a relaxing Sunday.  Your menu sounds great!  We are having a guest for several days so I've been cleaning and cooking today. B:Protein shake. L:About a fourth of a deli sandwich, mainly ate the meat from the middle. D:Home-made chicken pot pie. 2 prunes. S:Maybe some sf pudding. You know Bonnie, I have been wanting to write you ever since I saw you were from Gainesville, GA.  You see I am from Gainesville, FL and the first time I saw you post, I thought WOW, someone from Gainesville, and then I realized it was Georgia and not Florida.  Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi! Marti, a long way from Gainesville, now living in San Jose

Hi Marti, glad to "meet" you no matter where you live! Even though I'm in Ga. now, my DH is desperate to move to FL. where he lived before we met.  We will list our house pretty soon with the idea of moving around Ft. Myers.  Though with such a slow housing market, who knows when we'll move!     How did you end up in San Jose? Nice to talk to you!                         Bonnie

Bonnie, My former spouse was in the electronics field so we moved from Gainesville, to West Palm, to Pittsburgh, to Sunnyvale, CA, to Salt Lake City, UT, and then I came back to San Jose. (Sunnyvale/San Jose are suburbs of San Francisco, albeit 50 miles away). My sister lives half the year in Sun City Center, outside Tampa and the other half in Maine.  If you could sell your house in GA, you could have your pick of "the litter"  in FL according to my sister!
