Good Morning Aime and everyone, Brenda's mom is visiting so we've been playing Bingo like it's the last chance we'll have.  We played Wednesday night after she got here, yesterday morning and again last night.   This morning we're on our way to the zoo and White River Gardens.  During the summer they have a huge room of plants and flowers with butterflies flying around freely.  You can sit and let them land on you.  It's wonderful and Brenda's mom loves butteflies so I think she'll love it.   Guess what we're doing tonight....yep, Bingo again.  It's been great seeing her again.  I'm one of those lucky ones that has a wonderful mother-in-law. Have a great Friday. Floyd

Hey my fellow April 2006 Board Friend!  We did it!  Two years and still going strong after WLS.  Enjoy your blessing of a great MIL.  I had one also!

It is His love and grace that saved and sustains me.

good morning Aime and other offers. well flowers are starteing to really show their beauty. My Iris are all getting buds on them  i have a few of the old fashioned ones like the old purple , yellows and whites that have already been blooming but all my hybrids are now getting buds or already have buds on them . My roses are loaded with buds, my lady banks rose is blooming to beat the band. She has grown up over the pagoda and hopefully by the end of summer will be completly over it. You should see it , it is a thornless rose that is loaded with small yellow roses that one stem is a complete boquet. lovely.

Well looks like i am going to have to get this right shoulder operated on fast, i am beginning to really lose function in it. My two daughters are coming down tuesday to help me get everything planted and in the ground what i dont , Joe can do mmaybe. cause i am going to be out of commision for a couple of months with it from what they say. I can only hope that i heal from that as quickly as i have from other things. like my rt knee surgery. i had done in December and i never had any problems with that. I used the walker for about a week and the cane about 4 days and was on my own after that. took my cane with me on a cruise the middle of January but used it very little so that was quick healing i think.

Still raining here lot of the flood victims are again for the 3rd time facing their houses being under water again. water goes down and they have enough time to dry out a little and then it starts again. Our lake is still up on the edge of the bluffs so dont know what will happen there.

will let everyone know how and when on the shoulder ....Jan

Good Morning Friends, It's been a busy week.   I've been helping my two Granddaughters with their piano practicing in the mornings from 7 - 8 am.  They are total beginners & they are so confused.   My DD & SIL are so frustrated that their teacher covers so much material each week & they don't know how to do their practicing correctly.   They have talked to me about releasing the current teacher & having me teach them.  Not sure if that's a good idea or not.  Hmmmmm......   Took Mom to Drs appointments on Wed & Thursday - she is doing fine.    Today is my 9 month check up with my surgeon.   I'm doing fine, so don't expect it to be a big deal.    The weight loss has really slowed down & I have capacity to eat greater quantities now, so I know I"VE GOT TO WATCH IT.    I weigh every day.   If it goes up, I make sure to cut my food intake until it's back where it was.   When it goes down, YAHOO!!! It will be almost 80 degrees today, so I plan to enjoy the sunshine.  Have a great day everyone!

When I moved to this location 4 years ago, I gave my piano to my daughter for my grand daughter. Haley knows that when she is 5 I will begin teaching her. When ever I go over to their house I have to play for her and she dances and sings for me. Sometimes teaching a sibling can be good, and then there are  times when it is not so good. I am an only child so didn't have the luxury of someone else teaching me, both my parents could only play the radio. I have seen so many different teaching techinecs in the years that I have been involved in music, and we just have to adapt to the child...
Women are angels.

We are flexible.
