Need to vent

Today started out really good,I was wearing a new top and feeling really pround of myself.  Then towards the end of the day I went down to the receptionist area where everyone kind of hangs out sometimes and several sales personnel were standing. The receptionist very loudly said "You need to either wear a bra or get one that fits you better you are sagging"   Talk about embarrasement .  What I wanted to say would have gotten me fired but now I wished I would have said it.   I know if I looked that bad my family would have said something to me ........plus I have a mirror.   I know since my weight loss i am saggy but.............. I just needed to vent.............

Barb, I underdtand your need to vent, people can be very cruel. I too have the saggers, mine look like to flat pancakes hanging. No matter what kind of bra I buy they don't do a thing for me. I am sorry thst you where talked to that way but just bru**** off as ignorance and move past it. Jealousy is an ugly thing. God Bless you and keep your chin up. KathiM

Vent away Barb, I had a similar thing happen, only not quite the same way, it was one of my female bosses when I went to bring something to her office and she told me it might be a good idea if I got myself fitted for a better bra. . .  at first I was startled and then I decided that perhaps she was right and I went and had myself fitted properly, what a difference it has made. . .  so don't sweat it, but have a nice little talk with the receptionist and say, gee, do you think maybe next time you could tell me on the side or something if you have a suggestion to make. . .  it's amazing how some people think they can just blurt out the most private things     Hugs, Laureen

I am so sorry for the cruelty of others. That was totally uncalled for. She was way out of line. Don't let her get you down. Ask your family for their honest opinion....they will tell you the truth. Hugs, connie d

I personally would bring charges up on her. That is just blatant harrassment.

I detect some "jealousy issues"  perhaps for the receptionist to be so rude and ignorant.

This is a reply to Judy who found the bras at Wal Mart and K Mart.  What size were they?  I am looking for an underwire bra, but I can't find one big enough around.  Although I've lost 75 lbs., I still need a size 50!  I need a AA cup by now, and they don't make size 50AA's anywhere.

The way she did it was so very inapporpriate and cruel. One of our pastors at church had WLS she has lost close to 300 pounds and honestly she was looking terrrible in the "girls" department. as someone who had" been there done that" I took her aside after church and with humor told her it was time for a bra fitting. Seems I was  the third one to tell her that week. The next week she had gone and had a fitting and she was so proud to show us her new and improved look. It's all in the delivery of the message. Vent away sister, we are here for you. Blessings
