Hiya Reg, good call on the yogurt, and I too hope your tooth survives. Youa re doing so well...smile. I am hanging on there, my body wants me to eat the wrong things, that is what happens when I step outside the box.

Lap Band on 05/21/07 with
Hi Linda, I'm suffering today trying to eat.  I had a Pure protein bar at breakfast - had to eat very slowly.  Same thing eating slow for lunch - a Smart Ones Chicken Marsala with broccoli.  It is sitting like a lump in my throat now.  I woke up with stomach acid in my mouth.  So my stomach is churning.  I think I will drink dinner tonight in the form of a protein shake.  I have yogurt for an afternoon snack if I can stand to put anything in my mouth for fear of getting this heartburn feeling back. I've eaten six Rolaids and I've drank 40 oz. water so far.  I'm going to try and get in 80 oz. of water before the end of the day. I'm trying to avoid the hour long car ride (and cost of gas) to drive to my Doc and have him take some saline out of my band.  I haven't had this much trouble in the three weeks since the Doc added some saline to my band. It looks like our pouches are barking at all of us today. I took a mile and a half walk at lunchtime. I hope you feel better soon - both your pouch and your face.  Why can't we all have been independently wealthy so we don't have to work??? Then we could be philanthropists and do good things for others.  Take care. Bev

Linda, I had a 3-hr round-trip drive to see a urologist this morning and rewarded myself by shopping for a new top at J.C. Penney.  I had only been in there once before, 9 yrs ago, and all their women's size clothing was for the geriatric crew so I never went back.  Now I can shop in the misses department and got a beautiful size L top for only $5.79.  However, most of the tops were "baby doll" style, which IMO is NOT flattering on a 54-yr-old woman.  At least not on THIS 54-yr-old woman... B: 1 packet weight control oatmeal made w/ 2/3 c. skim milk S:  protein shake made w/ 1 cup skim milk S:  1/2 protein bar L:  2 oz. ham salad made w/ light mayo S:  1/2 c. mango peach cottage cheese D:  2 oz salmon, 1/2 c. roasted cauliflower S:  4 oz. SF pudding Jean
