Whats New Sunday!!!! From Sunny Florida

Ok we have 9 minutes to go till Sunday Guys and Gals so Lets see what we can post. Well it is officially Passover for 8 days. Matza all week for me NOT!!!!!!! I am driving to Ft Lauderdale for a night to be with my cousin and my friend from Denver then Ill drive back home Monday Morning to go to work at noon. I filled up my car to the tune of 45.00. Can we say we were running on the fumes!!!!! My car holds 10 or 11 gallons and I think I put in 12 gallons. Not sure. I took Lily and her mom out to lunch and Starbucks today. Lily loves BBQ Ribs Has anyone ever seen a almost 3 yr old eat ribs ????? Pretty funny. She sure can clean up a bone. Anyway Life I hope will be pretty good today so type on. Carla  

Darn! Thought I might have a chance of being first early this Sunday morning. It's just a bit after 2am here, but still I'm late.  The puppies decided they wanted a 2am feeding this morning. Mama Maggie is trying to wean them and they can drink watery milk but they still prefer  mama's milk if she'll cooperate.  They were not to be denied tonight. Maggie no longer sleeps with them, but we got up to go to the bathroom and she checked on them. That was all it took. Then they thought it was play time so out to the family room we went. They are now zonked out on their fleecy blankie so I think I can put them back to bed shortly. Way too early for even me to get up!

Yesterday Mike and I worked in the yard most of the day. We have a back retaining wall that has a lot of leaky gaps. Dirt works it's way out of the yard and creates low spots. So we filled in the areas with rocks and concrete hoping to stop the loss of dirt. In order to get to the wall we had to trim a bunch of branches, roots, and vines. . . . Man am I stiff now! I think the hot tub will be the first order of business in a few hours.

For now it's back to bed if I can get the pups to go back to sleep.  You all have a nice Sunday. It's sunny here but still pretty cool for this late in April. I haven't planted anything outside yet. We'll have a nice day or two and then cold again. Frost warning last night. Take care, Karen C

Good morning Carla, Lily sounds like a good eater. I can picture the face of a 3 year old eating ribs - cute and messy. Shopping was pure frustration. The stores were packed, the clothes ugly, I came home with nothing to wear but two nightshirts. It was a mistake to go after spending a few hours in the sun with Matthew and Melanie. I was tired, hungry and thirsty. A bad combination for a non-shopper. After breakfast I'll try again.  I'm not sure what we are doing today. I completed another birdfeeder for the rose garden and will find the perfect spot for it. Before going to bed I assembled a new one and am itching to begin painting. That's where I am headed right now. Kisses Annette

Margo, No talent here, just paint and brushes. The nice part of using acrylics is that they dry quickly so if the colors look strange, I slap another coat of paint over my mistake. You should give it a try. Kisses Annette

Annette, I never go shopping without a girlfriend.  It takes a girlfriend to tell you if it looks bad... or if you look GREAT in it. Janet
