Update on JillySue
I called the hospital around 7:30 and was able to talk with Jill. She was doing pretty good, a little sore, but not much pain....said she was pretty sleepy. Told her to rest now, cause they'd be around in a while to have her up and walking the halls.
It was good to hear each other's voices finally.....I will keep in touch and you may even hear from her when she gets home, probably this weekend sometime.
Dr. Kemmeter wondered how she and I met.....She didn't tell me what she told him, but I'm pretty sure she told him it was on OFF! His practice really pushes the OH
website.
What a wonderful family we have.....loving and caring for each other. The Support from this site is priceless!
Hugs to all and Good Nite,
Pat

Done! Your Ticker:
Yeah, Pat, I talked to her around 8:30 p.m. for a few minutes, and she said the nurse was coming in the room, so I told her to get ready to walk. She sounded a little hoarse, but that's to be expected because they put that tube down you while you're asleep (bet most of you didn't know that!) But she seems in good spirits and is feeling OK, and is ready to make her "debut" down the halls of Blodgett.
I might call her tomorrow morning, depending on when I get up, and if she's still there and I'm not too tired, maybe I'll make a trip in to see her. We'll see. I'm trying to conserve gas and not go anywhere this weekend.
Pat,
Thanks for the report on Jill, please give her my best wishes for her recovery process and a big welcome to the Loser's Bench!
Hugs, Laureen
