What's New Thursday!

Hi Aime and everyone: Glad you are better, Aime. I have not had bad problems with antibiotics since WLS, except for the bad liquid antibiotics they gave me post-op for the post-op infection in one of the incisions. I think it was the sugar in the liquid. Yuck! Made me nauseous. Otherwise, pills don't bother me at all, just like before. But everyone is different and we need to listen to our bodies. Not much going on. It's a beautiful spring day, which means my allergies are in full bloom. I have a four-pronged attack in gear (Allegra-D, Singulair, Flo-Vent, Astelin nasal spray, plus eye drops for my itchy eyes), and still I'm having headaches and running nose. I don't dare open the windows because that would bring all the bad stuff indoors. But how I'd love to have the windows and doors open! It's nearly 70 here. Hope it lasts. But unfortunately, I have to let the air conditioner turn on. I did my Thursday shopping, although my check is now all gone. Major mishap in my checking account and I hope it's cleared up now and will be better by next week. Wish I got a full check ... will July ever come? I need to call the bankruptcy attorney and ask about the timetable; I hope it's July sometime. I don't know how much longer I can stand it. With all my expenses going up, I'm so squeezed financially. If gas goes up to $4 a gallon, that means it's doubled since I made my budget, while my paycheck certainly hasn't doubled. Cost of living adjustments in the three years I've been in bankruptcy have been 3 percent a year, certainly not enough to cover the cost of gas, food, prescriptions, etc. Thought about getting a part-time job, but my schedule isn't conducive to it, and quite frankly, I'm just too pooped to do it. Now if I could find something I could do from home ... there are all these offers but most of them aren't legit. Too bad the donating plasma thing is out of the question... the $60 a week was a nice bonus, but I realize it wasn't good for my health. Well, two more days of work and then I'm off. Can't go anywhere and quite frankly, I'm too tired to do anything. We have a review tonight so it'll be a late one, and then an early morning as I have my annual gyne checkup (already made the appt. for the squeezing of the boobs for May 8). Have a good day.
Hello, everyone!
My goodness...I have so much to catch up on! ..bit the hurrieder I go, the behinder I get!
We had a beautiful Spring day here..my lilac bushes are covered with buds...woohoo! But not too much celebrating her yet because we have had snow in May. I got to sit out on my new porch this afternoon with my water bottle and an orange..Zeus da Moose ate all the peelings..so much for composting!
JB has built two three foot high brick pillars , now at the end of the concrete driveway by the road...they match the brick on the hosue..now I can fill them and plant flowers! Right now they are empty and everytime I look at them, there is usually a cat sitting on top of each pillar. Om sure they must thing that the pillars were built for them! Other people have LIONS or horses or dolphins at the end of their driveway..I have CATS!
Ive been mending from a pile of work jeans..7 pairs! My poor fingers are full of lil POKE HOLES. Now and then, I switch over to crocheting..an old hobby that Id given up years ago after two boys, but while we were gone, I needed something to do while travelling for hours...JBs choice of music CDs do not coincide with mine...I get tired of constant songs abour pickup trucks, broken hearts and beer.
It sure is god to be back! *hugs all around*

That WAS wierd, wasnt it! I was so focused on my intent to call Janet at her house to visit, that when you answered, I got confused and didnt even REALIZE who you were, thinking she had a neighbour over...sheesh! Im SO blonde sometimes!
Thank you for missing me..I really didnt think my absence would be noticed much.
*hugs & schmoochies*
