What's New Thursday!
Hi Aime and Everyone! Glad to see you feeling better Aime. Interesting story on the antibiotic. Thanks so much for sharing. Hard to believe the baby is 4 months old already. Time does fly.
Annette, Lindsay is a girl after my own heart. I love jewelry, too.
Isn't it fun to see Joan and Joyce having such a good time visiting?
Busy day for me today as It's a partial day in the office and I have my required nutrition class -- one more step to surgery. Hubby saw the Cardiologist yesterday and is scheduled for angiogram tomorrow morning. They will do whatever repair they can do once diagnosis is determined. It's a very good thing because I hope it can fix the immobility he now deals with. Here's hoping it improves the shortness of breath and he can be active once again. I have every confidence that things will be better and he's fine with all this, too. I have all the errands run already in preparation for a quiet weekend at home for him. As long as they don't have to do bypass, he'll be home Friday night and it will all be good. Have a great Thursday! Kathi
Good Morning Aime and Friends,
I got busy yesterday and never made it back here! Mike is cuddling Clara and Hannah. He's not much for traveling but it sounds like he's found his Heaven on Earth. It's not Iowa. . . . It's Chehalis, WA! He left Monday was coming back today but he's "needed" there today so won't be home til tomorrow. I think we'll probably be taking turns every few weeks this spring and summer. One of us needs to be here to supervise home sale and new home construction. Teasing, he told me he put money down on a house just a few doors away from Josh and Erin. We both hate the rainy, dreary west side weather, but those little girls bring sunshine to the darkest skies!
Yesterday I mowed the lawn, played outside with the puppies, attempted to patch and paint nail holes. Didn't match very well and I don't want to paint the whole room so I'll keep working on the color. I'm getting close.
Today I have a lunch date with other retired teachers from the school we both taught at. May get in that movie that I haven't found time for all week.
My heart goes out to Darlene. So many of us have been in the position of having to persuade an elderly parent to give up driving. It's so hard, but so tragic when something like this happens.
To all of you have a wonderful day. I'm trying to treat myself well this week. No more Girl Scout cookies for me! Take care, Karen C ****Edit: Almost forgot! The wee ones were 4 weeks old yesterday. Under 4 lbs and just over 4 lbs and 17 inches at birth. . . . TADA! Both are now right a 6 lbs and over 19 inches long. I'd say that's pretty good for 4 weeks wouldn't you?
