I had a wonderful time in Sturbridge, MA. I lost a few lbs. too since what I normally eat wasn't available. I had a few barf episodes too. Today I am starving! I've got it under control though.
B - Protein Bar
L - Smart Ones Salisbury Steak and Asparagus
S - yogurt with blueberries
late afternoon snack - 1 Sausalito Macadamia Nut Cookie
D - Chicken and veggie
Still at 900 calories for the day and got in all my protein.
Coming off of Prednizone is the bummer. Even when you step it down you feel tired. I hope the barfing stops.

Aw Linda, feel the love! Hope you feel better soon. Prednisone did a number on Oscar several weeks ago when I was taking it. Today must be offical barf day! Oscar is very disagreeable and has twice. Now he just plain hurts - kinda tender feeling. The little fella better settle down before tomorrow or I'm gonna shoot him. it sure won't be fun to go on a weekend get away with a grouchy pouch!
GYM visit went well. Afterward I stayed out in the streets for a long, long time. Left home at 8:30 and returned around 1:30. Doctor - Starbucks - KMart - WalMart - grocery #1 - grocery #2!!! Felt good to be free! Mainly just walked the aisles, did buy two pair of shorts at KMart and a pair of shorts for George at WalMart! Bought a few things at each grocery, shopped their sales as usual. The two groceries are just blocks away from each other, and on the way home, so didn't go out of my way.
B - protein shake
S - Starbucks mocha frap lite, s/f syrup - YUMMY
L - baked chicken thigh and green beans about an hour later I tried a piece of grilled fish
S - protein shake
D - almost afraid to eat probably pork loin and salad
S - yogurt with f/f cool whip and a sprinkling of toasted pecans if Oscar feels OK
Probably won't "see" y'all until Sun. evening or Mon. morning. Gotta start packing, which is a chore in itself. The weather is supposed to turn very cool (low 60s - high 50s by Sat. night - Sun. morning). So I have to pack a variety of clothes for warm and cool weather.
