What's New Thursday..

....I am actually still up....I expect Annette will be up soon.....I have just gotten my computer put back together.....I decided to re-arrange my office...I was tired of having to face the wall all the time, so I took everything apart....my computer, my fax machine, my printer, my scanner etc. and I have been looking at all these cords and trying to figure out WHY I  DID THIS!!....but at least I got the room re-arranged and the floor waxed and my DH husbnad moved my filing cabinets for me....3 legal size ones..yikes....so I am progressing and now I face the door with my back to the wall ...and I like it sooo much better.... We went to a :"****tail" party last night ....and we got there 1/2 hour late and the Hostess wasn't home yet, and the Host had just arrived home from a fishing trip to Tennessee....and so we went in and he gave us wine while he walked around turning on lights and music....the hostess called twice saying she would be there in 10 minutes.....before she got home however....three more Realtors and their spouses arrived and so we were all drinking and laughing when she finally came in...she had been listing a house....such is the life of a Realtor.....late for your own party....Good thing we were all going out to dinner...cause there was no food there...LOL Hope you all have a great day.. Good morning Marti! This is a nice change to have you start the thread.  I am so glad we are nearing the end of this week. I am ready for some me time. I loved the excursion to Pittsburgh. Since I got home, I have been on the go. The best part of that is I am falling into bed and sleeping like a log.  I saw my PCP yesterday afternoon. He was pleased with the status of my health. He is pleased I am doing so well since my surgery. He wasn't able to offer any ideas about the discomfort in my back around the bra area. There are no rashes or bumps there so nothing is easily evident. He was tickled to see the picture of LP. He hadn't been aware I became a grandmother. I related to him the history of the past several months. He understood why I have not wanted nor had time to come in for a follow up visit. I do have to make an appointment for a physical in 2 months. Ugh. I expect a busy day at work today. The phones were off the hook yesterday. Afterwards, I have to attend my community meeting. This is the first one for 2008. Now that the weather is warmer we will meet monthly. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day. It is expected to get in the 70's today. I am ready to be warm.

Good morning Marti and all, Yes I was up. Tom and I have been sitting and talking as we have our morning coffee. He's been rather clingy since the Pittsburgh trip and needing my attention. That's a good thing. Electronics are not my thing this week. We bought new cell phones and had to return 5 of them until they were working correctly. I bought a new adding machine, plugged it in and nope, it didn't work. Took it back to the store, asked the manager to make sure it was working, and he had to try 3 of them before we found a funtioning machine.  I also bought new house phone. Annie is very rough when the phone rings and I am constantly replacing them. She also has a nasty habit of peeing on them. Nothing else in the house, just new phones. We moved the locations so she will not have easy access to them. Nor will we, but this is getting expensive. My brother has has both shoulders replaced in the past year and still has limited use and a great deal of pain. His surgeon is one of the best in the area but has sent him out of town to another specialist. He and his wife are coming for dinner tonight and then I will find out what they plan to do for him.  He is very frustrated because he has had to retire and can't do anything physical.  Kisses Annette

MORNING MARTI AND OFF FAMILY....WELL I AM UP EARLY WAITING TO CALL LEGAL AID TO LET THEM KNOW I HAVE BEEN SERVED MY DIVORCE PAPERS....I AM HAPPY AND OK SO NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ME....ITS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING AND ITS FINALLY HERE TO GET THIS FARCE OF A MARRIAGE ENDED!!! WHY I PUT UP WITH IT THIS LONG I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND....BUT IT IS OVER AND DONE WITH....WELL IT SHOULD BE IN 2 MONTHS. WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON WHAT LEGAL AID TELLS ME THIS MORNING.

OK I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE BEFORE AND NOW PICTURES OF ME OFF THE SIGNATURE LINE HERE AND I CAN'T GET IT TO GO AWAY....I WANT MY NAME BACK WITH THE HORSE THERE AND I JUST CAN'T GET IT TO DO THAT!!!! WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO HELP ME PLEASE???

LAST NIGHT I THINK THERE WAS A GHOST IN THE HOUSE....I HEARD MY COMPUTER SHUTTING ALL THE WAY DOWN AND THEN TURNING BACK ON AGAIN!!!!! I WASN'T DREAMING BECAUSE THIS MORNING WHEN I CAME TO THE COMPUTER IT WAS IN THE FORM OF JUST STARTING UP AGAIN.....HUMMM WONDER WHO THE GHOST IS????

BEEN WORKING EXTRA HOURS THIS WEEK FOR ONE OF THE OTHER CASHIERS...HER DIL IS VERY VERY SICK AND STILL A CHANCE SHE WILL DIE....ITS SO SAD....THEN NEXT WEEK ONE OF THE OTHER CASHIERS HAS JURY DUTY....SO MORE HOURS FOR ME!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I SURE CAN USE THE MONEY!!!

ITS ONLY 34 OUTSIDE THIS MORNING AND SUPPOSED TO GO UP TO 50 SO MAYBE TONIGHT IF ITS NOT RAINING I WILL TAKE BANDIT FOR HIS WALK...ITS JUST TO COLD AND DAMP RIGHT NOW TO TAKE HIM OUT...I GET SO DARN CHILLED THEN I AM COLD ALL DAY!!!

WELL BETTER GET SHOWERED AND DRESSED THEN I AM SURE LEGAL AID WILL BE OPEN AND I CAN CALL THEM AND SEE WHAT TO DO NOW...SO HOPE YOU ALL HAVE  A GREAT DAY!!!! AND REMEMEBR TO SMILE!!!! IT MAKES PEOPLE WONDER WHAT YOU'VE BEEN UP TOO!!!!!

Good morning Marti and all, Yay! It's Thursday! I think this weekend I will stay in jammies as I am feeling yucky and sicky. Had dinner with former co-worker who took over my job, was a nice time. Had my favorite Vietnamese dish and Oh, my, had to actually go to the restroom and get rid of it. Had pork, lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumbers and noodles and although it tasted wonderful it hurt like H3LL! I have never done that in a restaurant but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. Sorry if that's TMI. I am slowly getting my little area of the office personalized. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Good morning Marti and everyone....... Just a quick check in. We will be leaving for Children's Hospital shortly. Nic will have day 4 of chemo today. He got sick from it yesterday but is on a new med and is feeling better today. He is just really tired.  It has been so much fun having Jamie, Nic and Gracie here. I have been so happy that they are spending time with me. I miss them so much when they are in Iowa. They are planning on leaving after chemo tomorrow however we now have storm warning out for freezing rain and snow. It is to start today at 1:00PM and last until 7:00AM Saturday. They may be staying longer. That would be fine with me!! Hope everyone is doing well...have a good day!! Hugs and love, connie d
