Good morning to my OFF family. I hope that today is sunny for all of you even if the sun is not shinning.  Sun 2 I didn't get to go to the store yesterday like I had planned. Other things came up and so that is happening today. I started out with just a few things and now the list is getting longer. I hate that because the only thing that I like about shopping is the walking around. Drats! It is suppose to cooler today. We are going to get rain today and for a few days the rest of the week. i am looking at it positive and know that the rain is making the grass green now and not the ugly brown that it was.  I have a meeting at church tonight so that is how my evening is going to be spent. Once you get the Ad Council together which is the 2nd tuesday of each month they just keep their mouths going and most of the time it is about things not being discussed. I would like to just get in there and get things done.  I had my last bible study last night on grief. Since we started that one we had 2 people who attend loose a loved one. One had her mother pass a few weeks ago and then yesterday one lost her sister. It is kind of strange how things work here in God's world isn't it. We are having a new one start in 2 weeks. It is going to be on the women of the bible and I am letting Pastor use my Women's Study Bible. Annette, I just wonder how Annie got in the china cabinet. I am finding that cats are really somethng else. This moring right after I opened my eyes there was Misty coming from the living room. I asked her how she knew that I had just opened my eyes. I have come to the realization that they have radar!!!! Cats are such a mystery at times. They are hard to figure out that is for sure. But I sure love them.  I better get going. I hope that the day is great for all my sisters and brothers. Know that I am sending love and hugs to all of you. I will check in later to see just what is going on. Gotta get my OFF fix during the day.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good Morming Everyone,      I'm on my father in laws computer for a few minutes , I'm short on time so have to keep this short too. We arrived fine on Sunday. I spoke to Joan M for a few minutes and to Aime and tried to talk to Margo but our cell signals were bouncing around too much.... I left Debbie G a message and all while enroute ... We'll go visit Joan soon and I'm sure have tons to talk and giggle over ! I'll be contacting Pam soon too and arrange a day trip to see her.  It's been warmer here than we've been used to but only in the 60's and it hit 70's Sunday afternoon. The forecast is for warmer and lots of sun and near 80 by Friday !  I "ll take it ! It'll be a few days again before I can borrow a bit of computer time... so everyone take care , know that I think of you all often - oops that's ALL Y'ALL....

Lil Sis, I PM'd them to you. You will notice they are more 'hints' as to what happened at the meetings. This is my way of making sure the ones who attended know I was paying attention but the ones who never bother to come don't get the entire two hours worth.  Kisses Annette

Good Morning Sweet Annette!    I'm as happy as a clam today because I actually lost 2 lbs. while we were away and I haven't lost a thing since I came back after Christmas (I lost 3 lbs. over the holidays).  On the other hand I'm very sad because my DH went to the doctors again yesterday and they say there is nothing they can do for his rectal pain.  He had fissure surgery 2 yrs ago but he does not have another one.  He is in constant pain and they say there is no medication that will help him.  I'm beginning to wonder if  this is a nerve problem. Hugs! Judy

Hi there, I have been AWOL from the OFF board for a while.  I have been battling some health issues, like bronchitis and cellulitis and just plain unhealthiness.  I am also battling some pounds I gained since my hernia surgery, which won't go away since I can't go to the gym with the bronchitis and all that.  Vicious cycle there. Anyway, I am just working today, teaching in Philly, PA.  Then home to crash, rest the leg and crochet a poncho for my granddaughter, the cute little munchkin in my avatar. Have a super Tuesday. Hugs, Trish

Morning sistahs and bros, I woke up today feeling a bit blue...it would have been my Dad's 86th birthday today.  This is the 4th without him and it isn't getting any easier.  It is especially poignant today since I spent some time talking about him this past weekend with my OFF girlfriends.  You were all so kind and understanding of my feelings of sadness...thank you. DS and I will send him birthday balloons to Heaven with notes later.  We do this 3-4x/year.  Makes our hearts smile!  The inlaws are still not good.  DH left yesterday to head back to them for a few more days.  My DS is not feeling good...something nagging at his belly...who knows...he spent 1/2 of Monday in the nurse's office and then only ran 1 event at his Track Meet.  This morning, he felt yucky again.  Oh woe is me.  Plus my Dr. appt yesterday left me with some concerns...she is sending me for some more tests and such....just what this worrier needs...I know...relax and meditate.  I will!  DS just called and is back in nurse's office.  She said to let him rest for a bit.  Geezzzz!  Okay...breathe!!!           Thank goodness I got away for the weekend...but now I think I need another!  Or at least a Calgon Moment or 2 or 3!!   Wishing you all a great big terrific Tuesday and thanks for all the positive comments and accolades concerning the Palooza.  It would not have been the same without each of you!   Hugs, Lora

Rainy yucky day, but it's not snow ( which they say we may actually see on Saturday, hiss boo)  I had to cancel my Expectant Moms group for tomorow as no moms coming. The entire staff is disappointed as this one  I teach on herbs, make things from herbs and plant a herb garden. So I told staff we would have herb bread and butter and fresh salsa tomorrow anyway.I had better not forget to make that bread tonight or I will be run out of town on a rail. Tonight Chuck and I watch the Biggest Losser at his house and I don't usually get home till after 10.  I have had the worse desire to snack today. I feel like I could dive face first into a chocolate pie.I keep making tea. I went in the kitchen  to make some a while ago and a co-worker had her fresh salsa, so I toasted some chips from a tortilla and with some of the salsa I think my craving is tamed. We have a Social Service training this afternoon. They are pure torture. Long boring repetative..Bla bla bla bla bla..My granddaughter and I took a long brisk walk in a beatiful area by the Missouri River yesterday. I wish I could go thereevery day.Well I had better get to work.. Birthday blessings to all. And big snuggly huggs to the sweet babies..

Hello Annette and my OFF Family, We went to Dayton last Thursday for our two year follow-up.  The doctor was very pleased with our results and our blood work was even good considering how often I don't take my supplements.  He ordered more blood tests to check our Vitamin D.  We should get those results in a couple weeks. Thursday night we were to have dinner with the friends we were staying with that night and when we walked into the bar/restaurant, there was an entire table full of old friends to help me celebrate my birthday.  Brenda had arranged it and didn't even give me a hint.  It was nice to see them again. We got home Friday night and stopped to pick up my computer from our friend that was fixing it.  He said it was real close to crashing when I took it to him.  It's working better and he's ordering more memory so I can have a faster system.  He had a 19" monitor for sale so that is what Brenda got me for my birthday.  It's so much nicer than the little 15" I had. Saturday we had the Indiana OH Clothing Exchange and it was a wonderful event.  We had somewhere between 30 and 40 people there.  They surprised me with a sugar-free birthday cake.  Told me if they have to add many more candles, they'll have to go to a full sheet cake.  Does that mean I'm getting older than dirt?  Anyway, I had a very nice birthday and want to thank everyone for their birthday wishes.   Got some pictures from the exchange that I'll add to my profile. Weather is finally getting nicer here and I planted some flowers in the front yard on Sunday. Not much else new with me except work, work, work.  The person we selected for my old position has tentatively accepted the offer.  I'm not sure what "tentatively" means.  She either wants the job or doesn't.  lol Take care, Floyd
