Good morning Annette! How are you today my Pittsburgh sista?  I had a good day yesterday. Amazing how rejuvinating these get togethers are for a soul. I was bubbly all day in the office. That might also be because I knew I had a dinner date with my new friend.  Sadly, he had to cancel though. Something came up family related. We will plan something for later in the week.  I took the oxygen test again last night with the cpap. I am not so concerned about having to use the cpap again. I am a little concerned that I may have to add oxygen when I sleep. I do think I am sleeping better since I started to use the cpap again. In fact, I didn't wake up once last night. That is so rare for me. Nature usually screams me awake at least once during a night. I will leave the oxometer in the door and wait for the call of the results in about a week from my pulminologist. I suppose that if it is needed, I will do what the doctor recommends.  I hope to be able to attend the local support group meeting tonight. I haven't been able to go for a few months since LP was born. I think I need to start making myself attend these meetings. I am feeling like I could easily start on the way back up with my weight. I do not want to do that. Never again. I also so want to get near goal. These last 30 lbs have just stuck with me.  Well, I am off to start my Tuesday. I hope everyone has a great day! Stay warm.

Hi Aime, I hope all goes well for you and you can stay on track. It is hard, we have multiple problems...and that old enemy food is always there, trying to say it is the answer...we know better. Happy to hear about your man-friend. Hugs!

Tom called me into the spare room. He said " You have GOT to see this". The door to the room is kept closed. In there is my curved glass china cabinet, that door is also closed. Sitting inside was ! Annie of course. We have no idea how she managed to get in the room, much less into the china cabinet.  PITTSBURGH SISTAS: I was doing my on-line banking this morning and had quite a shock. Laureen, Carla and I paid for our rooms before we left. The hotel charged my account for the entire week-end - the entire amount AND I paid CASH. I put in an immediate call to the hotel and was told I need to take this up with my back, This is what they call a "confirmation charge". Anybody else run into problems? The new curtains look good in our bedroom. Still looking for new bedding. It is hard to make a decision. I found a few pretty sets but they were not compatible with 8 cats. If the color is too light I have to wash linens too often. Too loopy or smooth and their nails tear snags. Too dark and I won't be happy. Today I can combine the outing with my client and more searching. The support group meeting was fun as always. When I started leading a year ago it wasn't unusual to have just one or two people show up. Now the room is quite full. I may need to reserve a bigger room. People are bringing their support person on a regular basis, which I encourage. Each week I make notes and send e-mails of the meeting notes to everyone on my bariatrics list. This had not been done previously and the response has been very positive.  Kisses Annette

Annette, that Annie is something else!! How do you suppose she got in there?  My gosh, what a cat. I started my pre-op medications today before my cosmetic surgery tomorrow.  I'm excited, but of course nervous too.  I'm sure I'll be quite the site for the next week, then I'll be back to surgery for the gallbladder removal.   Be warned, I'll be around a lot in the next three weeks LOL The hair color class was wonderful, as I knew it would be. Just had to get my tiny hiney moving, but once I was there it was very challenging and interesting.  They paid for our lunch....Chinese buffet so I didn't eat very much, but it was a nice gesture on their part. One last day of work and I'll be very busy, so , best get it moving.   Hugs and smoochies to all!

Linda, you're so sweet to ask about DH!!!  He's been faithful to the OA program now for over 90 days and has lost 35 lbs.  I'm so very proud of him. Thanks for the good wishes for tomorrow....keep me in your prayers, please

Thanks so much, Debbie. I'm so glad to hear your thumb is on it's way to being "all better".  I hate to hear work is calling and bothering you, especially Dr Butthead!!  Why doesn't someone put that man out of his misery?  I bet if you were to do him in it would be justifiable homicide! Take care, dear lady. Hugs

Susan
