It is so funny that I seemed to need a lot of clothing to cover my fat. It even effected me emotionally letting go of them....strange! B- Cheese Toast L- Red Beans and Ham Hocks D- Cottage Cheese and Pears Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Good morning to our little sweetie. I hope that you are doing fine today.  I am going to go get a pantry for my crap this morning that I am gettting off freecycle. I need more space to put things in my kitchen cabinets and this is going to do the trick I think. Now i just have to find a spot for the pantry!!!! My life is a never ending story of "find a spot for it". Well, at least I have a home, some do not. Thank you God for what I have and also for what I do not have. Here it goes for the day. Yesterday I made some egg salad and it looks so good. Bill tasted it and he liked it so it must be alright. lol B: 1 toast with peanut butter L: egg salad D: steak and veggies S: protein bar more than likely I hope you have a wonderful Sunday. I am since the sun is bright and it is suppose to be fairly warm today. Love and hugs to you my darling friend.

Hi hon, my place is in a shambles, a friend is coming to pick up most of clothing. I am asking God for focus and to help me not to be over whelmed by this mess.

Linda, I recently got rid of my fat clothes and suffered some anxiety over it.  It was the old "I might need them some day" thinking.  My walk-in closet was almost empty afterwards!  Now every time I go in there, the emptiness reminds me of what I have accomplished. B: 1 packet weight control oatmeal made w/ 2/3 c. skim milk S:  raspberry protein shake made w/ 1 c. skim milk L:  2 oz. steak, 1/4 c. roasted turnips, 1/4 c. broccoli S:  1/4 ricotta cheesecake fluff D:  1 crab cake, 1/4 c. quinoa, 1/4 c. green beans S:  1 SF pudding Jean

Jean, I have cleaned out my closet about 3 times in the last few months. I gave the beginning clothes to my sister and the rest now is going to goodwill. I kept one peice of clothing from my "old" days. I am keeping that as a reminder of where I was and where I will not allow myself to go again. It isn't my biggest size outfit but it is close. The rest is GONE because I think if I keep them that is giving me "permission" to return to them and I will NOT do that. Have a sunny day. I send my love and hugs.

Hi Linda! Sounds like you had a productive day getting clothes ready to give away.  Good for you!  Can't wait to do that myself.  I actually bought a new pair of pants yesterday.  Mine are all "roomy" and so I went to try some on.  Curious whether a smaller size would fit...... they did.  Now, I bought them because I think there will be some sort of delay caused by seeing the surgeon this week.  If I buy them, and she schedules something right away -- one pair of pants is a very small price to pay......  How that for emotions getting the best of me?  LOL B-yogurt w/berries L-salad w/salmon D-not sure yet! Hugs, Kathi

Good Morning Beautiful Linda!! It is hard for me to let go of my big clothes too. I have them all in totes, 8 or 9 large totes, in my garage. I keep thinking about my other diet attempt and how I failed so miserably. Gave all my clothes away and had to buy more. I keep thinking that will happen again. Eventually I will have to do something with them!! My girlfriend Pam wants me to have a garage sale with her this summer. Maybe?? I had such a blessed day yesterday. The minister, Mary,  that spoke to our OH/MN coffee group was soooo awesome. She also does counseling. The session was just so uplifting. Just what I needed. She is going to be calling me soon and talk to me about my feelings about Nic and the cancer and my dealing with that. This is just what I have been praying about and look what the Lord has sent me.....Amen!! I need to get my things in order today for the arrival of my daughter Jamie and my precious Nic and Gracie. Need to go get a few of their favorite foods. Got to get in the garage and bring the highchair in and wa**** down. Plenty to keep me busy today. Tomorrow they will be here!! B-yogurt w/kashi and cheese S-pear L-Chopped steak w/mushrooms and onions and veggie blend of squash, carrots, and brocolli. (left overs from yesterday dinner at Applebees) S-fruit D-Same as lunch S-SF something (pudding or Jello) I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!!  Love and hugs  your  Boo
