ANGEL DUTY.......SMILE.
Doing much better, thanks for asking. Had a mini-meltdown this morning - frustrated over not being able to do everything and major cabin fever! George wiped my tears and got me out the house. We went to the Islenos Festival (people from the Canary Islands who began settling in lower St. Bernard Parish around 1778). Lots of ethnic music and other music, crafts, ethnic and regular festival food. We shared a sampler plate with paella (sp), plantains, and an empanada (sp), and a 1/2 doz grilled oysters. I also bought another cookbook. We left there and headed straight to the Zephyr's game. So, we were in the streets from noonish until 9:00 tonight! I'm finally getting tired and ready for a pain pill. It did me good to get out. Luv ya! Debbie
