Good morning Janet and the Gang in PA! Aime so sorry we didn't connect other than telephone while I was in Baltimore but when you didn't call back on Sunday I knew you probably were busy with LP and N. Hope you found some nice things at the Flea Market and had a relaxing day.  I know you are enoying the time with the ladies in PA and am glad all the ladies got to go. I have been feeling under the weather this week.  I had tummy thing Thursday and then yesterday I was dizzy from the time I woke up until bedtime last night.  Since I work for our local police department which is police and fire combined, I went to pick up pay and mentioned I was feeling very dizzy and my boss called paramedics and here they come from previous call in fire engine with sirens and full works...I was glad they came but felt embarrassed.  They check oxygen level and blood pressure and both were fine.  So probably just the tummy thing and loss of electrolites so I am increasing fluids and eating healthy and listening to my body in case I need to see Dr. Had a great vacation in Maryland visiting my family (8 brothers and sisters and their families).  Lots of great MD seafood!  And I lost a pound!  I was blessed to see many friends from three different churches, 2 in MD and 1 in PA.  I even made Mexican Dinner for the group in PA.  All were so shocked to see the "new" me and all in all it was a wonderful time to reconnect with family and friends. Hope you all are doing well and those waiting for surgery, please be encouraged not to give up, but to press in.

It is His love and grace that saved and sustains me.
In Christ's love,

Good Morning, Janet, Pittsburgh Palloozers, and Everyone! What a surprise that Thelma can work!  I know Louise is very VERY happy to have Thelma along!  Everyone is in for a wonderful weekend.......  Too much fun...... Been a little busy with hubby's doctor's appointment with Pulmonary.  His COPD and Emphysema have advanced enough that it was time for a referral to the specialist to see if he can help.  Well, he wants his heart checked out and lab work and some other tests before he decides a course for treatments.  We're going today for lab work.  Next couple of weeks have tests and Cardiology referral for a treadmill test.  That's a concern because he won't be able to accompish that on his own so they will have to perform the nuclear testing for that one.  It is what it is.......  I see the surgeon on Tuesday so it could get a bit hairy scheduling things for both of us.  I guess that's why we had kids!  LOL  Time for them to help.  I know they will so I'm not too concerned about the delays possible.   Our little grandson was 2 years old yesterday.  Party is scheduled until next weekend so we'll go by and see him today.  We need to hear the results of his check-up at the doctor.  Our son was saying they should get to know how tall they expect him to grow.  I guess you can estimate that by their height at 2 years old.  This little guy is such a golf nut, they were taking him to play miniature golf yesterday after the doctor visit.  That should have provided alot of stories to share! Take care one and all.  Have fun -- in Pittsburgh or anywhere else you might happen to be.  Prayers for those who are in need right now.  Cudos, Janet, for pulling off such a wonderful surprise! Hugs, Kathi

Aloha you little scamp.....and all the rest of this wild and wacky family!

Janet.....I wish (as usual) that I could have been a gecko on the wall when you waltzed in and did your version of "TA DA!" That had to add a lot of fun and happiness to an already fun get together. You did good, sister, keeping it a secret!!

I'm sitting here in the dark all dressed and ready to go to the hospital to see "MY" babies! I wonder how many were born yesterday. It's always fun to go into the nursery and check the "baby book" to see who was born, when, how much they weighed, etc. The thing I like about this job is that I never know how long I will be there. There can be TWO babies born yesterday (hasn't happened yet!) or 13!! The average is around 5 to 7. If I only have 3 babies, and they are easy to test, I can be out of there by 7:30 a.m.!! Kinda a waste of time to get up at 5:00 and be home by 7:30, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Chocolate martinis?? That sounds like another "gecko on the wall" moment!! I hear that we WLS peeps get loopy really really fast on very little alcohol (I haven't personally tried it yet), so one chocolate martini would have probably resulted in some pretty interesting behavior, eh?? Come on........."talk story!" We are waiting.

OK, my sisters and brothers.........time to get this skinny bod out the door (it's chilly......68!) and on the road. Pitts. hooligans.....have fun, fun, fun....as if you need any encouragement. I think you ought to line up and have someone take a picture of all of your "buh-tocks" in a row!! Now THAT would be something worth cherishing.......Ha!

Maui Karen......*poof*

We Dallas Divas would never talk about one of our own. . . . but you might want to ask Debbie S to "talk story" about those wicked chocolate martinis!

Good morning Karen a day late..hope you had at least 5 babies to make getting up so early worth it.  I get up at that time daily and have no babies to great....would love it though. What kind of education or degrees are required to test the babies' hearing?  Hope you warm up today....

It is His love and grace that saved and sustains me.
