Hi Connie!  I, too started the 5DPT yesterday morning, and am doing great--except spending lots of time peeing, then today very loose BMs (sorry if TMI!)  It's my understanding the 5DPT is not for quick weight loss, though rather for nipping the carb monster cravings in the bud.  Also, for getting back to the basics of reacquainting ourselves with the actual feeling of satiation.  I had my first 1/2 cup s/f pudding today, and actually felt STUFFED barely one third through!  Am supposed to eat one cup of food whithin fifteen minutes, and it was fabulous feeling the pouch tightness again, and that's what (I go with 3/4), I strive to keep up.  Best of the best to you--oh, I add poultry seasoning to my cream of chicken (strained) soup, and VOILA!  tastes like Thanksgiving dressing!  Keep it up girl friend! And for anyone else thinking about the test, cheeck it out at www.5DPT.com .  Some people do lose on it, and I've lost three pounds from Monday a.m. til this a.m.  Not bad, and it's imperative to get minimum 48 oz water the first two days (liquid anyway), then 64 oz the remaining three days, which should be the norm anyway.  Hope this clarifies the 'clear as mud' concept for many.  Hugs galore, Patti (sworn to the oath "What happens at the Lodge Stays at the Lodge!?!!!"

Hi Patti.....I canceled out on the 5dpt for now. I had to leave for St. Paul last night very unexpectedly. I just got back in town a little while ago and am exhausted. I still haven't had a chance to catch up on sleep. I will try the 5dpt again another time. First I am going to do the cottage cheese test. Miss ya already!!   Hugs....connie d
